My issue with Barrier lately is the move to a mostly IPA lineup. They have gotten away from what made them special - making great beer in a variety of traditional styles not made elsewhere locally.

Unfortunately people will line up and those beers will go fast. A case limit for each beer and 110 cases each, it will all go.

 

No sweat, more beer for us locals.

 

Northport has it's own town police force and the station is about 1000 yards away...hopefully it's mellow, organized and not like going to VT or MA and having to wait on line for an hour. I'm looking forward to trying Sand City from a can.

Beer geeks are the worst.

 

This was pretty predictable. The mentality of gotta have them all is fueling lines at all of these places.

I was in Boston Friday, I rolled into Trillium, no line and got a variety of world class beer with no problems at all. I could have left with 7 cases if I wanted. This is how beer procurement should be, not waiting in line for hours.

Would love to have some cans of Sand City, but no way in hell waiting in line.
