Starting light with some salt and lime...

Looking forward to some NFL action tonight after last night's HOF inductions - I'm a fan of Favre, sure, but my big winner was Kevin Greene... He may've played more seasons for the Rams, but he'll always be a Steeler to me... *Steeler Nation* :sunglasses:

The #3 all-time sack-leader (160) behind Bruce Smith (200) and Reggie White (198). I don't know how things'll go for some of the young bucks out there today like Mack and Watt, but as of now, only Peppers and Ware are even close to meeting or beating Greene's numbers (136 and 134.5, respectively)...

    Cheers...

A peaceful morning on the patio interrupted by the vintage bombers on tour. I'm going to enjoy the final day of the show with this fine beer. The flavors are slowly melding together into something a bit more smooth and subdued. It still tastes good, but the coffee and chocolate is starting to fade. I'm deciding if I want to buy one last six pack before they're gone? Happy Sunday gang!

Decided to shoot a few frames for posterity using a 'real' camera that seldom sees the light of day since the advent of 'smart' phones.

Good Morning BAs and happy Sunday.

Went to Red Rock Brewery yesterday morning for the release of their new Forbidden Peach Belgian Fruit Ale. There was a decent line when I got there (maybe 50) and by the time I got mine there was another 100 or so behind me. Forbidden Peach is a Belgian Fruit Ale brewed with 700 pounds of local fresh peaches, aged in Chardonnay barrels with two different strains of brettanomyces. It's dry hopped with Citra. The first thing you get is the sour funk then the wine barrel comes through nicely. Surprisingly missing, at least to me is the peaches. I am trying to convince my tastebuds that they are there but I am not really picking them up. This beer is extremely crisp and dry. This beer is a lot like another beer from the area, Elder Brett by Epic which is a Belgian golden ale, Brett and the whole Chardonnay barrel thing. Only difference is color and of course the peaches contribution to Red Rocks brew was its color.

    Cheers BAs

Driving back to Indiana from Hilton Head, a stop at Wicked Weed was a must!

The food is killer and they have the best bottle/merch shop I've ever seen.

    Cheers!

I wish they'd canned that instead of 12th of never, but at the price, even in bombers I'm buying it. Absolutely loved it.
