Traffic definitely sucks, and even more so on summer friday's (much worse than weekdays). I would say Friday is by far the worst day of the week for traffic, and it has been starting earlier and earlier too.

Agreed. 1 PM rush hour is just unfair.

Yep. I work aroind canton and live in Billerica and it took me over an hour and 40 min to get home from the brewery today. Terrible.

Im trying to figure out a way to blame it on the alchemist so I can get my name in lights in the local VT news websites. :stuck_out_tongue:

This batch of melcher is fantastic as the last one was. It hadnt been a favorite in the past but its getting there now.

    I have some expertise with 95

Never ever go 93 through Boston instead of 95. 93 traffic is worse and it lasts longer on each side of rush hour.

Make your trip to Canton at 1 on a non Friday, you'll see no traffic either way (although southbound will start to clog at 2, northbound should be fine at 2) . If you must go on Friday in the summer then the latest you can make it before closing, the better. Unless there's something weird happening, the roads will be clear at 6:30, despite gridlock since noon. Everyone leaves early. Seriously.

True...after 630 today, zero traffic + zero wait at canton!

Issue I have is that Fridays I work from home, meaning I can run out on "lunch" (unless it takes three hours). The construction is killing traffic, too... all the work around the 2/95 intersection, there were lanes closed going either way, and MassDOT can suck an egg.

Normally I agree with you on 93 vs 95. I only took 93 because I saw a solid fifteen mile parking lot going north on 95 as I was heading south. Devil you don't know, and whatnot.

    For those wondering -

Peach Soak was 4pp, w/ 40 cases at each location (120 full allotments), however most people were getting fewer than 4 bottles and it still sold out at 3:15pm and 5:30pm in Boston & Canton, respectively.

Blueberry Soak is 2pp, w/ 35 cases at each location (210 full allotments), and I expect a similar rate of sale today. 4pm - 6pm sell out seems like a reasonable expectation.

Crap. I'm not gonna be able to get Blueberry Soak... biked to work, and it'll be gone in no time. Raspberry and Peach are both excellent.

Good info, thanks for sharing. Knowing that breweries tend to be busier in the summer, do you think Blueberry will move faster?

Peach soak was during the summer. 90 more allotments I would say blueberry does not move faster

Peach Soak went from 4pp to 2pp pretty fast, didn't it? I got 4, but I thought they cut the allotments in half after a couple hours.

Maybe 2pp will mean I can actually get a couple Blueberries.

I don't remember them cutting the limit.

I remember posting a picture of my haul and someone commented that I must have gotten there before the limits got cut. They could have been wrong, and I could be remembering wrong, but that's the basis of my comment.
