#VBS courtesy of @JoeyIce3. No newbie glasses yet, in transit. Tart citrus but not overly acidic. Almost certain I haven't had it. Not dry at all, small chance it's still some sort of a citric saison, or more so straight up wild ale but not too lactic. I'm all over the map here, but like it. Bottle could be a Crooked Stave, although I've had too few of those to remember them. Great guessing game.

Hi Guys! I've been pretty absent. Had a week at home with my 4 kids and they kicked my ass. We're about a week away from shipping deadline and I know most of have received their boxes. If anyone hasn't let me know. My target's box is going out today. Meant to get out last week after snagging a special beer but didn't get out of the house much with 4 kids running around. Once again, great round everybody.
Great time meeting and chillin w you, too, Andy! #handshaketick Can't wait to make it back up to Pizza Boy... maybe another camping trip me & my buds go on, just never to Rickett's Glen - never going back there again.... ...the ~360oz of goodbeer (an entire bottleshare that i brought up) -- as well as another ~4cases of macro beer that the others brought, were brought up to camp -- was confiscated by rangers, and F'ing dumped it within just ~15min after we got in and setup camp (presumably making 'too much noise' unpacking and taking stuff out of our cars. so, lost a bunch of mini-whales in the process , including those growlers/beers picked up while we are at Pizza Boy with you -- it def tarnished what ended up being a fun wknd of sober/dry/beer-less camping. The stop-offs at Bullfrog & Selin's en route back home were welcome consolations to what would've been a great wknd of ticking wants and making a dent in my cellar. ....came home to a sweet Newbies glass, that i'll be christening tonite. i'll let you know next time i pass through your area again, man.. the next round of brews/pizza will be on me. cheers, dude.
Can't believe I forgot to post this. Mystery beer 1 was obviously a hoppy beer and I figured it was in the 6% abv range. Nose was tropical fruit and the taste followed with low bitterness. @Steban hid the growler tag in the box for when I was done guessing. It was Wicked Weed Orange Peel Pale Ale. Great beer and glad I got to try it.

Where in VA are you from? There is a good campground within ~ 33 miles of Pizza Boy called Paradise Stream. Middle of nowhere but I like the place a lot. Stinks that you have stuff dumped...........dangers of a state park I guess. Lurks back out.....
i'm down right by DC (arlington/alexandria area) ... always lookin for good camping -- and close to PB is always a plus. and yea i'll stick to the natl parks
Ok. I went to school at JMU......daughter is in grad school there now and I occasionally get down to Brothers Craft.
Nice. My sister graduated there a few years back. Also, @beatjunkee we were just down at Aslin this past Saturday. That place is blowing up!
