Third recommendation for France44... much better selection than TotalWine and almost everything is kept cold in the huge walk-in cooler.

To be honest I usually drive by total wine through traffic on my way to France 44, it's that much better...

Confirmed that I got the name wrong. Mo-Whisky Milk Stout is the name. $10 a bottle/4 bottle limit, 750ml bottle.

Not sure if anyone cares any more but I always keep my eyes peeled for fresh Sucks - "203" bottles landed (Julian equivalent of 7/22 bottled) - grabbed a 6pk on sale at Princeton's Maple Grove today, $7.99.

Ended up finding a couple bottles of AB Noir at F44.....thanks for the tip on the place, it is very nice(as to be expected being Edina), even sampled some whiskeys....did have to ask the beer rep about the AB Noir though, they had it hiding in the back cooler off limits to general public. It kind of seemed like I was taking from his stash, but he was friendly.....

Top Ten SLP had some last week. I'd give them a call. I'll be stopping for a bottle later today. I didn't pull the trigger last week. $20 for a bottle of local sour makes me check myself...
Then again, no problem if they have $10 AB Noir!

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't mind when stores do this. Rather than have every bottle go into the hands of chasers and hoarders, keeping a few in the back for people who are looking for a bottle after the release and hype have died down is a good thing. I'm probably biased, though, because that was how I got my bottle of BA Darkness last year.

I'm not totally against it, but how do you know they have it?

At a different store, the clerk asked me if I was looking for something as I was walking around for a few minutes looking. I said, did you get any bombers of TG Pseudo Sue? He hesitated, asked me a few "qualifying questions" and said, yeah I do have some in back. I had to ask "can I buy it". It was almost like he was saving it for someone... That is my only problem with saving it in the back. You can say no until your buddy comes in, no one will know.
That's where a place loses my business. Only specific people can purchase your products?

Edina adjacent. It's actually in Minneapolis otherwise it'd have to be a municipal store. Everyone seems to forget France is the dividing line, Edina to the west and Minneapolis is to the east.
