I understand Jon went to Grizzly Coolers, which is owned or operated by another member of Clark's family. Jon's bio on twitter uses the past tense.

Only point I was making with posting his profile is look at the start date. 2-3 employees have left or moved to a different Clark and Co within 6 months of adding a new Manager/CFO. Just speculation but pretty easy to have a difference of opinion with a guy from his background and little to no brewing experience.

Interesting quote in that recent interview with Saboe:

"Um, my worry would be, I do not even know if I should say it. It would be the loss of the integrity in some areas or as a business grows the challenge can quickly become how to translate the mission to everyone that is aboard the ship. That is always kind of my worry as far as the scaling factor. I am personally not worried otherwise. I live and breath beer so if it were up to me and me being in the trenches at all times then I do not see myself getting behind on things. Now getting locked into having a big commercial brewery that has certain production schedules to maintain that is kind of the hard part of growth. Sometimes you are not able to be as dynamic as you were at a smaller scale."

"With the Hill Farmstead thing, I would put Treehouse in the same sentence where the focus is making the high quality beer and it is not trying to be this huge business entity. The beer is number one at all times. That is something that I strive for myself."

Oh man, now we're getting into literature analysis. I always knew my BA in English would come in handy some day.

A recently recorded Pulpit Rock podcast also mentioned Treehouse or Hill in a similar tone. Interestingly, they mentioned the collaborative nature of the entire crew as something specifically foreign to their previous experience. Seems relevant.

Back to actually posting some appreciation in this thread (imagine that). I attended the food and beer pairing at the Rubaiyat last night and it was fantastic! The food was amazing, Clark was there with some of his crew and it was amazing to be able to sit down and talk to him and ask him questions about beer and the new building. He was happy to talk to anyone and everyone about TG!
