It shouldn't. I got no vinegar in it, just funky pumpkin goodness. I drank at least a sixer of it last year, probably more.

Even though Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale was really fucking awful, 4 Elf Ale was some really vile shit.

Tasted just like a bottle of rotten raisins.

 

Magic Hat #9, tastes like Sam Adams mixed with Robitussin. I thought it was a phenol off flavor but I've tried it several times and I really don't know what it's going for.. Cherry maybe?

 

Apricot, last time I had it (quite a while ago, admittedly).

 

I can buy that, I guess. I just remember being overwhelmed with the flavors of roasted malts married with cough syrup.

Had a bad feeling about this one, that's why I never bought it.

Mine is Southern Tier Pumking. Awful, just awful. In my humble opinion of course. Tried it a couple years ago and hated it, then this year I saw it was on tap so I sampled it to see if my taste buds had changed... Nope..
