The Local's was great, probably my favorite. Mule was well received, but it is certainly the flavors that are marketed alongside it- so expect ginger and lime.

With Local's, is it pretty obvious which hop is used? And is there a chance Citra will come back next summer?

If it's one of our biggies, you know those- then expect some out of the state at this point.

That being said, with our upgraded production facility equipment, there will be plenty to go around in Michigan for all our releases. Now, if it's ULTRA rare (think potentially Cat Grass, next week) or a first-timer in which we could do less to feel the market out, then yeah, you may need to put forth a little more effort.

And if you can't find something the week it's released in Michigan (USUALLY!), you must be living under a rock or in the middle of nowhere with an incredibly terrible sense of time. I have no sympathy for you.

    Just sayin...

Speaking of Cat Grass, what's the best way to find out what stores are going to have it? Would Imperial have the information on their website or is it pretty much checking in with individual stores?

Just check. Make an educated guess. I have faith in you.

I called a few stores in the GR area today (and visited one) and inquired abut cat grass. I fear it wont be a fun experience. Nobody knows when they'll get their allotment, and I'm hearing 1 or 2 bottle limits and an expectation that it will sell out very quickly.

Found the mix pack at Grandville Meijer. It was in the warm side of the aisle but was still cold, so it must've come right off the truck. Drank the locals already and submitted my hop guess.:sunglasses:

I was afraid of that, but it's expected I guess.

Not gonna ask what your guess was, but did the dry hop used seem pretty obvious to you?

No. But in fairness I've never been good at picking out individual hop profiles. I'm sure some of the homebrewers here will have an easier time with it. I simply guessed. I picked a hop that I knew was common for dry hopping and went with that.

@HopHeadHerman Any info on why Cat Grass is hitting all the states except Illinois? I wasn't really expecting it, as I though it was MI only, but saw the distribution list and noticed IN, OH, PA & WI all getting some. I guess I should've had my vacation up near Traverse City this week instead of last week!
