tiredhandsbrewingTomorrow at 5:00pm at our @fermentaria, we will be releasing cans of D2H3: Galaxy as well as our reptoid with flavor synthesizing tongue IPA, Alien Church. This iteration of D2H3 was double dry hopped with the beautiful Australian hop, Galaxy. Full of ripe melon and intense grapefruity zest. Alien Church is one of our most favorite IPAs... Brewed with oats and hopped intensely with a blend of our most favorite/pungent American varietals. Allotments will be announced ASAP tomorrow! See you soon at the ALien Church! #dreambeer

Galaxy is all the rage now. Should be a pretty crowded release, but not milkshake levels.

That's a lot of allotments. I may not get there until 6. And I'm driving 2 hours...that's how confident I am!

Line just reached Cricket. Seems similar to last week. I.e. Not too bad.

cans will last till 8-9 i'd imagine... it's getting to the point where if it's not "shake" branded cans or something of the like it's safe to not have to line up... which is nice, I may actually be able to start getting cans if i can make it by 8 pm

I've never had D2H3 before, would anyone share their thoughts on it? Is it much different from HopHands? The name tells me it's double dry-hopped HopHands but I'm trying to choose which cans to buy.

The milkshake on tap sounds disgusting.

I discussed a prior batch of D2H3 in this New Beer Sunday thread: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/new-beer-sunday-week-576.392963/#post-4574046

Is this batch very similar to that prior batch? Is your palate similar to my palate?

If you decide to buy this batch of D2H3 I would be interested in hearing your perceptions,

    Cheers!

It's definitely, uh, interesting. I enjoyed trying it but wouldn't seek it out. The other milkshakes are far better.

Yet another breezy release though. I hope this trend continues. Will almost certainly be some cans making it to the bar again tonight.

In at 5:51...out at 5:58 with full allotment and they still had a crap load left. Also picked up a bottle of Roomarak.

The zucchini milkshake was okay, but didn't taste like a typical Tired Hands milkshake. Zucchini was subtle though. Added a bit of spice.

What are your thoughts on future bottle releases? Now that they seemingly have expanded production exponentially, can we expect large bottle counts of 1,500+ with bottles on the shelf for a few days after to be the new norm? Or do you think bottle counts will vary for whatever reason?
