But doesn't answer the question. Why even respond?

You need the password from instagram and depending how busy they will give you a time to enter. That's how it was when I went a few weeks back.

This, exactly this. Password will get you a ticket/pass and the gift shop employee will let you know of the time slot if they are busy.

Let me know when you decide to cruise down. I'll swing by with a real burrito. =P

With the release tomorrow do you expect the BA and other limited offerings to be out in the main tasting room rather than only the barrel room?

One of my earlier posts in this thread had the projected tap list for the release party. I think BA Nut Brown and BA Old Numbskull will most defintiely be in the main tasting room area but I would not expect much outside of those 2 BA offerings to be on draft unless you are inside Anvil and Stave.

Cool. Will do. We can settle this guac beef once and for all

A friend of mine from out of town is in for the weekend and wants to go to San Diego Alesmith will probably be our first stop. I definitely want to take him to Modern Times. Any suggestions on an evening itinerary and or area to stay in? Grazi

As for the password do I need to go up to an employee and tell them that when I arrive?

    Thanks again

Quick question but are kids allowed in the main tasting room? Didn't see anything about that on their site.

Definitely! There's even a small play area for them.

Thanks, seems strange to me they would be hyping the release tap list to only end up allowing a few amount of people to experience it. Unless it's all non-BA I guess.

So, the password is good for a week, and it's also been up on the wall behind the cashier...

    That's not good password security...

If the employee working the gift shop asks for it then yes, otherwise they will just hand you the ticket to get in.

Pro tip: Slyly sharing the password with someone who is fumbling to answer it will likely score you a free drink from them. Happened to me twice.

I was told the password changes every Friday and Monday.

Regardless, a big post-it note on the wall behind the person asking for the password is always a no no.

coconut vanilla viet speedway was delicious. Actually heavy on the coconut.
pb viet speedway, had this many times before and for some reason I just wasn't feeling it yesterday. I got more peanut butter flavor this time around.
regular viet is tasting mighty fine
barrel-aged viet brewer's blend (while some ppl were claiming that it was bavss it is not the actual blend) was also pretty damn delicious. I was thinking the double dose of coffee barrel-aged might not turn out that well and become more of a mess but it was not the case.

coconut/vanilla and pb viet both kicked by about 4ish yesterday afternoon.

    @eLeMeNOhPee1

Told you that wasn't the official BAVSS! Haha.

First time having the coco vanilla & peanut butter, I think I liked the peanut butter more but that could've been due to nostalgic BT pb&j.

Beer-fans “down under” can look forward to the arrival of offerings such as AleSmith IPA, AleSmith Nut Brown English-style Ale and AleSmith Lil’ Devil Belgian-style Pale Ale. Numerous other year-round, specialty and seasonal beers will also make their wayto Australia on a regular basis.

Does this mean they will be getting their BBA offerings? I hope they plan to make a lot more.
