Oh, I meant to mention, head over to the Deschutes website if you are looking for some great prices on glassware, shirts etc.....I ordered some - some are $1-1.50 per glass!

 

Wow. Arrogant Bastard 6 packs of 16 ounce cans for $11.99. A much better deal than bombers at 5 to 7 bucks. I love when life serves you a nice little surprise. :-)

early start to three days in Asheville!

 

Three day weekend and starting with a beer you will see in my glass often now that I have access all the time. Love it.

 

How is that? Once Fall rolls around I am looking forward to trying that one.

 

I forgot to post a beer with a book on Tuesday, as it was Book Lovers Day (some of us WBAYDNers will appreciate it falling on a Tuesday this year).

So here's the book I would have contributed then with the beer I'm drinking now.


Note: this book is from after Willems' graduation from college. He went on to win a half dozen Emmies for his work on Sesame Street, and he is now the creator of a couple dozen really funny kids books. I HIGHLY recommend his stuff if you have little ones.

I never drink this early. But it's my birthday, so fuck it. The girlfriend and I are headed to Baltimore/DC for a weekend of beersanity, so logically I'm starting off low abv and sessionable.



Hoping to swing by Mispillion on the way...we will see. Max's tonight. Life is good.
