2016 New Glarus releases

    I would hope so. Aren't they also doing ID checks now so those who feel extra entitled can't go back in line multiple times in one day? If that's the case it should last a bit longer.

    "Typically" bottles have lasted until around noon the past few years on the Friday before the Great Taste. This year may or may not reflect past years, but it doesn't seem like the madness has changed much.

    You'll be fine on Saturday; everyone will be hung over from the pre-GTOM events to show up early.

    They are scanning ID's now:

    At the release on August 12 & 13, there will be a limited number of bottles available each day. There will be two bottle per person per day limit. The cost will be $10 per bottle and include tax, cash is appreciated, but not necessary. Sales will begin no later than 9:00 a.m. Valid US Photo IDs or international passports are required and will be scanned.

    Not sure how early folks were lining up, but I got there around 9:10 and was in and out in 10 minutes. Pretty busy but not overwhelming. Another smooth one.

    They started a little earlier than normal due to the rain, I believe. I was out of the lot by 820am. But agreed, another well run release!

    Super chill as always today. Small line at about 8:30 but no problems. Bottles and beer in hand at 8:40.

    Does anyone know if they are selling any R&D today? Last release I went there on Sunday and they claimed there was none.

    Sunday hasn't been a release day for the last couple of GTMW week releases. Last year was Thurs/Fri/Sat this year was Fri/Sat

    If there is a ton of extra (like a Wild Bitter situation) I could see them throwing it in the depot on Sunday, but yeah, call first.

    Like what is the batch number on the bottles.

    They changed their number system since I last bought Scream to include a letter in the ID, and now I'm all kinds of screwed up
