I am all for 16oz cans but never had an issue killing 25 ounces of Trillium...

Only after I have too many of them.

It was always that second bottle that was the killer for me... In all seriousness, cans are great because sometimes I'm up for a second bottle/can, and I've never had regrets or unfinished beer with two 16 oz cans. Two bottles is sometimes more liquid than I want to imbibe, regardless of day, time, or ABV.

I had trouble with their stouts. High or low abv. Always enjoyed the first few sips, but found them painfully sweet by the end.

Eventually stopped buying them--problem solved! Would love to see that stuff come out in 12 oz anything though.

Ended up making the drive over anyways. Went to Canton. 1 person ahead of me in line. Bought too much beer. Had a debit card issue and had my card shut off sometime during the walk from the tasting room to the sales area. Haha. Almost 15 minutes on the phone and I was back in business. Dudes at the counter were cool about it. Love that place!

My liver is telling me the same lol I do enjoy being able to pack 750 ounces of trillium in my checked luggage and bringing them to the beach.

My liver preservation plan was to limit myself to no more than 2 cans a night...at least on week nights..which continues to be an unobtainable goal in my house. I'm trying to take inspiration this week from all the amazing Olympic performances to get back on track...

Do cans exist for more than 5 seconds at accounts that get it? Do you have to know the secret handshake to get the person behind the counter to pull them out of the bud light box buried in the way back of the cooler?

Only reason I ask is I'm taking a red eye from UT to Boston and get in super early on the 9/7. Plan on driving straight to Monson but it will be too early to hit Fort Point or Canton. Are there any accounts between Boston and Monson and then from Monson north to VT that would possibly have any Trillium?

There's a chance I could hit up Fort Point right before my flight out on a Thursday night. Is there ever anything left at the end of the day?

As far as I know, cans haven't made it to any retail account and are only available at either brewery. That being said, if you make to Ft.Point there will likely be 4-6 can options all with a case limit.

Since the switch to cans, they have not distributed anything.

Thanks. It pains me to not be able to make
It to either location as I absolutely love their beer but I've still never had any Treehouse so that's the destination for this trip.

Since you're coming in on a Wednesday, I would suggest either waiting in Boston to hit Fort Point or heading to Canton to hit Trillium at open for noon. You should be in and out with cans in no time (assuming no big release that day) and on the road to Treehouse.

Otherwise, you mentioned you could get to Fort Point on Thursday before you fly out. They don't run out of cans in one day, so you'd probably have 4-8 options to choose from (they will have seven different cans available today, for example).

Only issue is I'm driving from Boston to VT with my parents. Making the old folks wait around for 4 hours and then dragging them to Monson to maybe stand in line would be a bit much. They go with the flow but that might be a bit much. What are lines like at TH on Wednesdays?

Wed lines are long but move very quickly since its cans only. The three times I've been on Wed I've been in and out in 1/2 hr to 45 minutes.

How long were you in line though, before the line moved?
