Just cracked open a 2010 Founders Nemesis. Wow! Absolutely amazing! I never thought I liked Barleywines until now. Amazing beer!

Started off with a Maine Beer Co. MO, which was very hoppy and tasty. Just now finishing a Bannatyne's Scotch Ale from Cambridge Brewing, which is a great take on the style. Cheers!

Cracked open a DFH Punkin Ale I got in a trade. It's a little old, but still very good.

Found a homebrew that I made several months ago. It is an American wheat with amarillo hops. It held up better than a thought and even had some head retention. My Gumballhead was better than last night, but this one made me smile.

Working on an HSA. Haven't had one in a while. Very different from what I've been drinking lately. I'll probably follow up with a Hopslam.

Had that guy off tap at Great Taste of the Midwest last year. What do you think of it?

Gonna try the new stone collab, TBA and then maybe Trois Pistoles/Ruthless Rye/West Coast IPA. Gotta drink all this beer before the week before finals week so I don't get tempted and I can study well.

I had this early on in my Beer Geek Days about six months ago(early I know) and didn't think much of it. My buddy is drinking it tonight and said the same thing without any influence(at least from me), what do you think? I plan on having a strictly Unibroue night in the next few months to confirm my suspicions but I'm curious as to what you have to say.

    Here's my review.

If you've tried enough tripels, it's pretty hard not to see the merits of it. It hit all the quintessential flavors for me, and very assertively and smoothly. Do you not like the tripel style (or Belgian strong pales in general), or did you think it was a poor example of a tripel? I thought it was incredibly good.

I remember the HSA being pretty good but I'm pretty sure that was the same night I had 2 Car Bombs. Few questions, A. Where are you getting Hopslam(if not a trade) and B. Do you usually drink American Double's?
    C. You are super close to Ebeneezer's, ever been?
