Unibroue to collaborate on Megadeth beer

Not sure what to make of this

 

Just good ole Dave responding Metallica joining the beer scene. At least he chose craft instead of Bud.

Should probably stick to his winemaking.

 

Not to be that guy, but title of thread should be spelled "Megadeth." Not sure who I page for that fix... Love beer from Unibroue, I hate the song A Tout Le Monde and the corresponding album. I'll give it a whirl, but certainly won't be listening to that song while I do!

 

So many potential Megadeth-related beer names. "Ashes in your mouth"? Sounds delicious.

 

Indeed! Since Lefthand already has "Wake Up Dead," I'd have to go with "Poison Was the Cure." Although, "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due" could be good too. Probably more of a Clownshoes label on that one

 

Given that it's Unibroue, it'll probably be good, despite Dave's (likely) over-involvement in it. ; )

 

I don't know what's lamer, Dave Mustaine or a Belgian style saison.

The new version, I totally agree. The original off Youthanasia is excellent.

For a guy who doesn't drink, he's getting into the booze business pretty heavily - what's next, a distillery? (trying to come up with names - puns regarding vodka, whiskey and so forth, but failing.)

 

Now that's a beer and song I can get on board with! RIP and Peace Sells are some of the best metal albums of all time IMO.

 

Ha! I hear that pairs well with the Neurosis - Through Silver In Blood Orange IPA.

Will drink. But will play Wake Up Dead or The Conuring instead.

 

I would go for "Rust in Peace...Polaris" A single-hop IPA with polaris hops. A single-hop pilsner would be acceptable too.

 

Thirty-five years in and he still has little-man syndrome about Metallica.
