Federal TapHouse in Harrisburg has Wicked Weed Pernicious on their tap list currently. This is the first I've seen Wicked Weed around this area. I'm assuming it's just a one off keg, but I have to ask if there has been mention of distribution to Pennsylvania.
Wow I literally just posted something about this for York PA at the same exact time. I'm seeing bottles as well down here.
Al's of Hampden, Brass Rail, Holy Hound and Federal Taphouse (Harrisburg) all received some varieties in some format. Maybe others, but those are the ones I've seen. Hopefully this is not a one time occurrence, but if so... I'll take it. I do recall Hunger and Thirst having a very limited amount of Wicked Weed bottles around the time of CBC this year.
It's good to hear there's been other sightings! I didn't think to check Al's of Hampden's list but i would definitely seek out bottles if they are around.
They didn't get any kegs to the best of my knowledge, but got limited amounts of Dark Age (one case, gone in about 10 minutes), Calimost, Pernicious, Napoleon Complex and Coolcumber. I would be surprised if any are still available, but I suppose calling before a specific trip out there never hurts.
Beer Mongers got bottles, as did Hunger-n-Thirst and The Fridge I believe. At similar price points I prefer Almanacs beers which we've been getting a pretty good supply of here in South Central PA for the last year or so.
Beermenus shows them as having 12 oz bottles for $4.50-$5. Only exception is BA Lunatic, which is $12 for a 375ml bottle...
So, is Wicked Weed in SEPA a one time 'drop' or will those beers be available from now on? Cheers! @KOP_Beer_OUtlet
Good Ta Go in Chambersburg posted a picture yesterday of a few Wicked Weed options. They commented that they just hit PA but in very limited quantities. Really excited about this.
Hopefully this becomes a normal thing and the price gouging fades. I heard we will get some in the Lehigh Valley, so it seems the distro footprint is fairly large
