Some of you have absolute dumpster palates. Sam Boston? Pumking? Plead the Fifth? Duchesse Du Bourgogne?

If those aren't your thing, okay. But to act like any of those are liquid anthrax as some of you have is peak neckbeard.

Funky Pumpkin was inoculated with Brettanyomyces and aged in barrels and a stainless tank for the first release last year. This year, with the debut of Funkier Pumpkin, we did not inoculate Funky Pumpkin, choosing instead to focus on the tartness from brewhouse souring. The website page was updated to reflect the process used for the 2016 release.

I need to pick up a bottle of something for a bad beer tasting party this Saturday, so this thread has been very helpful! Now the trick is to find a place where I can get a single bottle so I don't have 3 or 5 bottles of crap to deal with...

It was a joke man:wink:. I think my dry sense of humor is extra dry on the internet.

No worries man. I figured as much and no offense taken. And maybe you're right considering I've only tried ~4-5 rauchbiers. Every single one was a drain pour though. They all taste like what I'd imagine drinking beer out of an ashtray would taste like. But that's the beauty of beer, there are so many different styles out there. Of course not everyone is going to like every style.

My assessment was similar. I had the misfortune of buying two bottles so I took the second to a bottle share for fun. It was not well received. I think 1 of the 12 people actually liked it.

I don't think I've ever had a beer from No Label that I have ever liked so I am pretty much done with them as a whole. Wanted to like them but they insist on doing chile beers and other odd combinations.

Buffalo Bill's Blueberry Oatmeal Stout. Like trying to drink a melted strawberry shortcake figurine. Plasticy and heavy-handed with some kind of fake blueberry essence.

More recently, I found Full Sail's "Session" brand IPA to be metallic and almost undrinkable. Not ever buying that mixed pack again since the wheat wasn't particularly good either.

Curious why.... I thought it was pretty good. A danger beer, definitely (6er of a 12% beer) but pretty good.

Boatswain IPA from Trader Joe's a few years back. Actually I haven't been a fan of any TJ beer I've ever tried and yes that includes Vintage Ale. If I want Unibroue I'll pay the $2 more and get the beer they're proud enough of to put out under their own name.

B2 To this day I have to say that damn budweiser energy drink is the worst thing that I've ever tasted.

After that watermelon dorado and that fucking curry garbage which I'm glad to see mentioned but not often enough lol
