Maybe! I got one 4 pack a day or so after they first released a few weeks ago. The only place I've actually seen it so far. This week I was at HA after a work outing cubs game - and they had one side of their fridge two-thirds filled with Navaja - I resisted the impulse to buy because I assume it will be more findable in a few months anyway. 14K or not

Another thing to keep in mind is that Half Acre has a weird hype factor to everything they make. Any of their newly-released beers (meaning, once a year or first time bottled/canned) fly off the shelves. Once people calm down and realize that this beer isn't going anywhere, you should be good to go.

I'm counting on this as being a go-to when I can't find something new and exciting, so I'll be pretty pissed if I'm wrong.

What is the cost on Navaja 4 packs?

I don't know how some of you do it living out in the suburbs where things like Navaja and PW beers are hard to find.

Something like $15. Pretty standard for a 4-pack of high ABV tallboys, I think.

    *doublechecks on Beer Menus*

Yup, looks like $14.99 is the standard.

I've picked up a handful of 4-packs since its been released. I'm sure the newness of the format and year-round availability will slow it down, but the 4-pack I picked up yesterday is dated 7/21(OMG!), so its obviously not flying off the shelf everywhere.

Dated 7/21 and you bought it? Oh, the horror!!!

On another Half Acre note, who else is pumped for Saturday? I'm really starting to look forward to it.

Exactly. And why I waited to buy it at the brewery. I've bought enough beer this month!

It's called kids. It just means you have to be dilligent

They actually didn't get released until 7/29 (see earlier parts of this thread) so that's weird.

Maybe they waited a week to release it??

Sorry - didn't mean to imply I didn't believe you . Yeah, they must have. I guess that might make sense for the first time with new cans. Probably good reasons I don't have a clue about to wait.

Why does the bottom of the can say "Don't Park"? That seems like the opposite of "Don't drink and drive..."

I didn't take it that way. Just happened to be sitting here drinking one, from the can of course. I kind of chuckled at myself when I checked the date at the bottle shop and was like dude, its only been out a few weeks. Force of habit I guess.

I've got two young ones myself, and they love our trips to Binny's. :stuck_out_tongue:

Has anyone noticed if the new batch of cans that seem to be hitting some stores this week is indeed a new batch brewed more recently or if they are the same batch of cans and just more of them are hitting the market? I just finished my final can last night, so I may be in the market for some more soon as well.

Am I the only person that thinks Navaja does not hide the alcohol well at all? I mean, it have a very nice flavor profile (and amazing nose), but its way too hot for me to drink regularly. I'd much rather have NvU at 10.99 than Navaja at 14.99.

I don't find it to be hot at all, but I wouldn't disagree with you that NvU is better, especially at the price point. It's good to have options!

Does anyone know if the big north event on Saturday is indoors or outdoors?

I'm slightly confused about it, but I think it's indoors since they mention it being at the production facility and that there is no A/C. But then they mention it being held rain or shine, which makes me think there could be a portion outdoors.

I am pretty sure it is going to rain tomorrow, which is the unfortunate part.
