Trillium Brewing Company (August 2016)

Man did it smell good in there today. Honey & Hops. I picked up 2 Cutting Tiles (canned yesterday) a Pier (canned today) and a Congress (canned a week ago).

 

This Galaxy Cutting Tiles is phenomenal. I wasn't a huge fan of Artaic either.

 

From the department of completely unreasonable complaints: is anyone else a little disappointed that they are down to 6 beers available at the tap room, all but 2 of which are also available in cans? In other words, the price we pay for consistent availability of these great hoppy delights in cans seems to be less variety on draught. I will take that trade-off, but still hope they will be able to maybe make use of the Fort Point brewery to do some additional supplementation.

 

Outside of a rapsberry soak appearence it's been a pretty steady flow of whatever is available to take home anyways. It's world's better than the 2 oz dealer's choice samples they were doing. If your dream is to pay $7+ for a 10 oz pour of uncanned beer more regularly then by all means they should supplement. It's good for what it is now.

Is Fort Point significantly busier on Saturdays when the Sox are home? Going to Sox game next Sat with family but don't want to inconvenience them with unnecessary traffic/lines other than a quick trip in and out.

 

Fort Point is nowhere near Fenway so I wouldn't think it would be any different than any other Saturday

 

Going to hit up Fort Point tomorrow late, probably close to closing, and man it's depressing watching all the tweets about what cans are selling out today. At this rate any chance they'll have anything left at 5pm on a Saturday?

No there will not be a long line. Yes there will be cans available when you get there. Sticky that to the top of every page.

This may not happen but I'd like it if they canned Free Rise. Its hard to find a saison that good in general, but especially so in non 750ml format.

 

Yeah, everything I really want is selling out. Was hoping to go Monday, but it's getting thin. A Vicinity drop would be nice!

Damn, figures the 1 weekend I'm in town, the cans are scarce! Sigh.

Has anyone seen any of the ipa's pouring around town this week? All I'm seeing on BeerMenus and Untappd are the stouts...I really want to try one of the Streets or Fort Points!
