Whoops, didn't catch that they weren't doing crowlers of the Tripa. Not sure what that does for demand for crowlers of the Berliner - probably can't help though.

 

I remember the good old older days (January-March 2016) when I could fill up my Aslin 64oz growler without any problem...

 

No Buffet or Johnson but my wife did comment that their music was a bit too mainstreamy.

 

Nobody cares.

 

Yesterday when I went Buffet was the first song I heard no joke. It was Pandora so only one song.

Thought the howling gale was better then the last time I had it. The mosaic was to malty for me. When I saw it was an amber color I knew that was going to be the case. It was well balanced but I would rather they let the hops shine especially with a hop like mosaic.

 

Looks like now you'll have the Double Dry Hopped Dunley in crawler as well?

 

nope, that's next Thursday, 8/25:

You're not talking about standing in line at Aslin, so nobody cares.

Just kidding, I agree with your assessements of those two beers. I happen to think the Sessions in the Abyss was the best beer I tried, right up there with any session ipa I've had anywhere.

 

I'm looking to go to Aslin tomorrow. Never been before. Looks like they are releasing Martyr IPA. Does anyone know if this will be in crowlers? If so, is there a specific time they will be releasing them? Thanks for the info!

Debating about going to Aslin and/or Ocelot. I'm coming from Old Town so a bit of a drive... is it going to be a complete zoo if I show up around noon? Not excited if that's the case.

Nope. But there is a decent Indian restaurant a couple doors down.
