When was the last time you had Chimay Blue?

Within the last month give or take a week. A close by bar had it on tap and I couldn't pass it up.

 

Long time ago, whenever PA grocery stores first started selling beer. The blue was my favorite of the Chimay also.

 

It was better before
I might think they changed it
and I also think it benefit from storage
last time I had it was in Belgium a few weeks ago, twice
it was too cold and fresh
Have one stored at romtemp. for a year
really looking forward to that one

 

Its been quite awhile, at least four years (how long I have been in AZ). When I lived in Virginia, the local grocery store carried several different Chimays in stock and it was convenient to stop by and pick one up for the weekend. Since coming here to AZ, I have had so many different choices to try that I shamefully admit to passing it by even though it is very easily found here.

 

Probably when I was 21-22 so five or six years ago.

 

Easily 4 years ago when the hotel where I was staying in Brussels had it on their beer menu. So after work and before it was time for dinner I sat down to enjoy a bottle and do some light reading. It was nice to learn the bottle was fresh and the beer tasted much as it does by the time it gets across the Atlantic to the stores around here.

I've been a fan of Chimay for more years than I care to remember,and I have to agree with one of the previous posters that over the years it does seem to have changed taste or is it my taste buds wearing out with age!

 

Regularly, it's one of my favorites.

 

Within the last 3 months. Poured the entire bottle in a huge Chimay glass and it was a good time.

Never. I'd like to buy the gift pack with the glass and drink all three. I'll put that on my To-Do list

 

It's a favorite around my house in the fall and winter so between 6-8 months for me. I am good for a few bombers each year.I seldom buy the smaller sizes of any Chimay and would prefer the big bottle.

 

It has never tasted as fine since the first time I had it and reviewed it. Gimme the White anytime though...

In haven't had the blue for the at least a couple years. I've had the red and anniversary during this time. With the barrel aged version of the blue out, I'll likely be doing a side by side in the near future. This was hands down by first non BMC toward the end of high school when I first started exploring beer. It was a high school graduation gift from my uncle. That was 2003.

 

Last December. It's in my holiday season rotation every year

 

It's been over a year. But the last 2 times I had it, I was very disappointed. And I'm a fan of BSDA. I prefer Chimay Red.

 

11/14/15 to be exact. I really should buy the Chimay beers again, it's been too long. In fact, I don't have any pictures of when I had it, since this was before I took beer pictures.
