Ruse Brewing just released their first bottles of Multibeast Saison. Which is a damn tasty barrel-aged brett saison.

 

Haven't seen them mentioned much on here. Sounds like a tasty brew. How do you think it rates to Logsdon Seizoen Bretta (which I love).

 

Hey guys,

My girlfriend will be in Portland for a day and a half next week and I'm thinking about asking her to bring a few beers back. She doesn't stop for long though, so I was wondering if you could recommend any bottle shops / webshops that would ship beers to her hotel ?

I would also love some tips on must-try local beers.

Depending on where she is staying, we could suggest a bottle shop or grocery store that might have some decent beers to bring back.

On that side of town...baileys taproom sells bottles to go, as does their new store across the alley. New store is called Brewed Oregon. The Whole Foods in the pearl district has a solid selection.
If she has a car or doesn't mind taking uber, there are many more options.

Haha, due to the high demand from tourists, the lopi sweaters will set you back a minimum of $180 these days. You can probably find one on Amazon for a similar price. Something along the lines of this:

Does anybody in Portland have 3-5 12 bottle shippers I could possibly buy tonight ? Didn't realize portland wine storage was closed Sunday's and I fly early morning tomorrow.

 

Bummer, I have a 6 bottle shipper you can have.

How are you planning on shipping the beer if you fly out early?

I can check 3 bottle shippers w my status on United. then I have another case, and 6 more bottles that I will drop off at a 24 hour fedex ship center tonight.

Gotta admit, Cali brah totally maximized his 18 hours. Credit where its due. We've seen folks visit for 2-4 days and not accomplish this much.

Honestly, some of both (it's kinda how I am), but mostly complimentary. We get threads where folks literally seem to be looking for a hand-holding guide to every minute of their visit. You, however, rolled in, had a great time, and (IMHO) went nicely overboard. Great visit! Next time ya come up , hit Bellingham, be happy to show ya around, and buy ya a couple brews
