Five Horses in Somerville posted recently they have Fort Point on tap. Do you use Beer Menus? Pick one of the beers you're looking for, go to its page and hit "Find Nearby." Usually, this is the best option when trying to hunt down what's available.

Scaled Up was pouring at Worden Hall last night. Not Trillium related, but worth noting that they also had Pappy's Imperial Biscotti Break on tap.

Had it on draft in Canton today. Thought it was okay, but not one of their better offerings in my opinion...I'm a little confused by the strong BA and UnTappd ratings.

5 Horses also has a great tap list even without Trillium (the usually have at least 1 Trill tap, though its not always something hoppy). The last time i was there they had Trill and i opted for something else because of price.

Had a taste of Outside the Lines at Canton and really liked this one but there were no bottles for sale. Does anyone know if this is being distributed at all outside of MA?

Don't sweat missing out. Had it fresh and it was okay. Had it again cellared it was worse. Had it on draft today it was forgettable.

For me, outside of Raspberry Lineage Wheat, all of trillium sour beers have been nothing special at best to salad level vinegar at worst. Why people line up for them recently is beyond me.

Trillium doesn't distribute anything currently. There was a period of a few months were they would send bottles to a select few stores throughout the state.

I imagine the Omnipollo version of Outside the Lines will see a widespread distribution footprint

They said it would be, so now we just sit and wait for some details!

Hey all--my friends and I are coming up to Boston for the weekend. Hoping to hit the usual suspects in the area but are aiming for Trillium (Boston) on Friday evening. Any tips/advice you could lend or things we should expect? Thanks!

Either nothing or something special if they haven't announced it yet

I'd love for a silent release, but they don't really do that, and they mentioned that there would be more details about Headroom. So I'm guessing that whatever is on the site is what will be available... Hope I'm wrong!

Boston location is open until 7:30 PM on Friday. There are no tastings/pours at Boston location, just cans/bottles/growlers for sale. If you're looking to sample Trillium, I'd suggest stopping at Canton location on your way to Boston, otherwise you'll have to find it on tap around the city.

According to Twitter, they have four can runs planned for this week so you should have better selection (depending on how long they last....Headroom anyone?!?).

Appreciate the response. Given that Treehouse might be slammed on a Friday and we'd be trying to dodge traffic, I'm wondering if Canton is the better/safer idea. Since we're staying in Boston Friday night and leaving for VT Saturday morning we're hoping to knock out TH/Trillium/NS all in one day--tall order I think.

And on draft isn't a requirement although it would be nice. My buddy and I wanna take our GFs out to dinner at a non-beer place since they're putting up with our beer quest. Priority #1 is timing and can/growler acquisition.

Are you staying in Boston? If so, I'd skip Canton, buy your cans/growlers at Fort Point, and do dinner at Row 34 if you and your GFs like seafood. If you don't like seafood, Salty Pig or Coda in the South End usually have Trillium on draft and are very good. None of these places feels like a "beer place"; just good restaurants that have solid beer programs.
