    Hey everyone.

Steve from Arizona Wilderness here. I'll be making a trip back home to the burgh in a few weeks. It's been almost 2 years. I need to get up to speed on the "must hits" for tap rooms, bottle shops, and bars. I lived in PGH for over 15 years so I know the veterans. Hit me up with some cool spots. And if anyone wants to get together for some bottle shares, I'll be bringing plenty of goodies with me, both from Wilderness and from California.

    Lemme know guys! Can't wait

Definitely hit up Brew Gentlemen in Braddock and Voodoo Homestead for tap rooms. Roundabout in lawrenceville is doing some really nice things as well. If you're going to be in the south hills, Insurrection Ale Works in Heidelberg and Hitchhicker in Lebo are nice spots with some unique offerings. As far as new bars, Smallman Galley in the strip district is a really good bar and has some great food as well.

If you need a bottle share, we do a share every Saturday at fatheads in the southside from like noon to 3.

Thanks guys. I'll make notes and let you know my schedule. We have our tired hands collab coming out this week. Waffle IPA made with real waffles and maple syrup. I'm hoping to snag some crowlers before I board the plane. I'll keep everyone posted

If you get a chance their brewpub is top notch. Great food and beer.

It's locally foraged desert lavender and creosote flowers.

Creosote is INSANE. It's this bush that blooms in the desert and is used in many herbal remedies. The flowers themselves are natural to preserving water, band when they are wet the release a very strong oil that smells AMAZING.

Desert rain is the aroma. They do tend to take on a plastic aroma after sometime. We brewed a tart saison with them at the pub and it was amazing!

I see that Cigar City is coming to PA...does that include Pittsburgh distribution too?

Unfortunately the rule with seeing new brewery in PA is to assume that it's Philly only. Though Steel City is doing their damndest to rectify that.

Does anyone know which brewery is canning all the Evil Twin beers hitting Pittsburgh? The price drop from ~$15 per bomber of Biscotti Break to $18/8 pack of 16oz. beer is quite the price discrepancy.

I know Westbrook has been used, and to my knowledge, they still bottle some of their beer.

Also, hoping Cigar City ends up in Pittsburgh sooner than later. White Oak Jai Alai is one of my favorite beers.
