BBDA, BB Brick Kiln, BB Matriarch, BA Imperial Amber (I'm assuming this is Lanthrone but do not know for certain if it is the exact same beer), and Cognac DA

Awesome! Thanks so much man! Wanted to know what the blend was before trying to see what I could pick out. Having BB Matriarch in the mix is crazy cool.

Extremely cool concept for a beer, IMO. And also a delicious experience. Enjoy.

I thought the constant asking here in the forums was bad but .....

I thought it was more "not until we can get locally sourced rum barrels" but that's probably the same thing, at least for the foreseeable future.

Seriously delicious! Super complex, smooth and intense. Got lots of smooth bourbon, vanilla, coconut, dark fruits, caramel, toffee, oak, chocolate, bit of roast, cognac sweetness and tons of other stuff out of this one. Next level shit! Wish I had another bottle. D:

Saw a fb post stating that Jackie O's pulled out of the Copenhagen Beer Celebration, please tell me this is inaccurate. I just moved from Cincy to Boston and was looking forward to the JO brews.

Thanks for the prompt response. Looks like I'll have to try the trade forum to get my hands on some stouts. Keep up the killer work!

I was looking forward to Jackie O's being there too. I have some JOs bottles that I'll bring along with me.

Anyone had the Paw Paw before? 9% seems pretty steep for the style, but I would love some opinions.

Original recipe from Kelly Sauber (fifth element spirits and west end cider house, Athens) from his days at Marrietta Brewing. It's strong but drinks light with tons of fruit. Juice! Been Brewer to over a dozen years if not more.

Unfortunately, I opened a 2016 Bourbon Dark Apparition that is showing a simlar off taste as the BB Vanilla Coffee Dark App. I might need to stop sitting on some of these and drink them fresh.

How's the BBBM drinking right now? Also, any first hand experience with aged Oro? Couldn't age any from last year and drank mine fresh but I'm considering keeping few regular and bb Oro for few years and see what happens.

I'd personally just drink them. I shutter to think of how much money I've wasted in 10 years sitting on beer only to open it and say "Well, that was way better fresh." There are exceptions of course, but not many. Unless it's Expedition, Stone IRS, Old Stock, Bigfoot, BCBS, or lambic, I don't cellar much of anything anymore.

I drank a 2015 Oro 2 nights ago. It was fine. Only issue is there was no more heat left. Which I would expect. Nothing off in it.
