Rushing Duck (2018)

Wooooaaaaaah CFKM is a hoppier monster of an IPL than I remember it being. Had some Dad Breath Helles and loved it, so picked up a growler to go along with a case of cans of CFKM. Surprised to see more Part IV hanging around. Almost got some to join the 5 downstairs, as it certainly is a great candidate for the cellar.

 

I was hoping I would run into you there. I had to get in and out though.
It was hard to leave as they had about 6 beers I wanted to try.
CFKM is a mighty fine tasty beer.

 

Do any of you know how fresh War Elephant would be right now? I just noticed it's on for growler fills at one of my locals for a very nice price too.

 

I'm pretty sure it's something they brew all the time. For what it's worth, It was on tap at the brewery yesterday.

 

Me too, brother. We got there about 4:20 I think and stayed for about 45 minutes. Yeah exceptional lineup.

Nicki told us the lineup for the Anniversary Party and it is gonna be 14 lines of ridiculously great beer. Glad to see CFKM in cans finally, not only cause I love it, but because that is one of the beers Josh told me was gonna get canned after the last cannings of DBA and WE

 

Sick line-up, 14 taps of excellence.

I was thinking the same thing Saturday night. It came together really nicely.

Rushing Duck Brewing Co. Naysayer, Beanhead, Dad Breath, War Elephant, Zingerbier, Consumer Friendly Keg Mover, and Divided by Zero will be available in growlers.
Zingerbier, Consumer Friendly, and the Brux IPA will available in bottles/cans to go.
Dog's Bollocks, BA Ded Moroz, Planet Funkotron, Part II, Part III, and Part IV will only be by the glass.

 

@cavedave what do you know about the Brux IPA?

 

Loving the anniversary ipa and my girlfriend loved the Planet Funkotron 2015.

 

Glad I got to stop by the brewery today for the anniversary.

The Brux was fantastic ended up buying a few bottles. Hazy and tropical with a nice mild bitterness and clean finish.

Also tried a small pour of the 2013 Dogs Bollocks and oh man was it amazing. Need to remember to buy a few extra and save them for a whIle the next time this one is released.

Rushing Duck is one of the most underrated breweries in the Tri-State Area. The new Brux IPA might even be the best yet. That's saying alot with IPAs like War Elephant, Divided by Zero and Kroovy. The new Consumer Friendly Keg Mover is an excellent Hoppy Lager. They really kicked up the hops in that recipe from the last time they brewed it

 

I'm drinking the CFKM right now thanks to the very generous @SammyJaxxxx. Great stuff. But I don't know if they're all that underrated at this point. We all know they're awesome.

Wow sorry to have missed the Anniversary party, from the way it sounds it was great! Would have gone today for Brux but have been under the weather since Mon. morning after a weekend of crazy work and partying with band mates. Hopeful they have some left still tomorrow.

And to whomever said they are the most under rated or under the radar brewery treasure, ya got that right.

 

It's looking good for that, unless things really pickup between now and closing.

 

As per twitter DBZ (azacca and citra) and war elephant on sale 9/21 at 4pm. Im gonna have to figure out an excuse to get down to chester now!!
