Marketplace in Savage had it last Weds. Might be worth a call if you are in the area.

They said the mustard packet is not for sale. No word on the pen or Samsung though, so you might be able to make a deal.

I'm guessing they included the other items as a size reference, but it would have been much more helpful if they had included a banana for scale. I mean, Twitter is on the internet.

Still no Enjoy by 9-05? Can't remember a batch taking this long to get to us. Only a couple weeks before that date.

Edit: Just checked Stone's website and the distro map for 9.5.16 does not include Minnesota or Wisconsin. Anyone confirm we aren't getting it?

I asked Top Ten Andover on Twitter. They said they wouldn't be getting any because their distributor didn't get any.

On a slightly more serious note, why the size reference? Do they think we don't know how much beer 3L is? Or is it the fact that you're not really buying 3L of beer, you're buying a really huge collectible bottle that happens to contain beer?

I swear the distro map originally said MN was on the list, but it would seem things have changed. Glad I picked up the 6-pack of canned Myrcenary instead. It's on sale at Liquor Boy SLP for $13. Not a bad deal for a tasty DIPA sixer.

distributors in this state suck ass..I was looking forward to the unfiltered Enjoy By again. I think they are being lazy and liquor stores may have something to do with it as well because of the shelf life of this beer.

The enjoy by 9/5 was released on 8/1/2016 and Citracado on 8/8/2016, yet I haven't seen that any where yet either.

When I was in Hudson last week, Chicone's and Casanova had Citracado. I have not seen it in Minnesota yet.

Princeton's in MG has a few bottles of Citracado. They got it last week.

I wouldn't say they suck. It's just a hard sell for stores, and because of the internet, many beer drinkers skip anything that isn't near perfect...especially for nearly $20 a 6-Pack after tax. I've seen plenty of the Enjoy Bys sitting on shelves at stores. Once they are past the date, Stone wants them pulled from the shelves.

I'm not following why the "internet" makes it hard to sell Stone Enjoy By Unfiltered. The ratings/reviews for it are great. I think it's the price of the 6 pack that is making it harder to sell. Also, I'm happy Stone is a brewery that wants their IPA pulled from the shelves quickly after it's sell by date.

Where is the best by date on these? I was going to grab one - but couldn't find it.

I agree, and I think that is certainly the case for regular Enjoy By. But the Enjoy By Unfiltered released in February sold out pretty quickly nearly everywhere. Still, it's sad to see so many quality IPAs/DIPAs wasting away on store shelves.
On the bottom of the box. I think all the ones Liquor Boy has best by dates of sometime in November.

I'll disagree with the first point because I don't think the internet is much of an issue when it comes to people buying craft beer. Maybe it is, but I'd argue it's a very niche group of craft aficionados who rely on ratings and hype status when they go into a beer shop. Hint: it's probably us and a few other communities. And we're a tiny slice of a large pie. There's a much larger market of John "I like craft beer" Doe's who probably make up the bulk of craft beer purchases. Maybe I'm wrong about this, and I fully expect someone to tell me I am.

From the business side, shop keepers have to stock the shelves with what sells. Enjoy By Unfiltered might've sold out quickly in your part of the cities, but maybe it sat around on shelves at stores like Craigers' which lie on the fringes of the metro. And, if enough of those fringe stores end up sending Enjoy By back to the distributor because it's past its enjoy by date, then it doesn't behoove the distributor or the stores to keep doing buys on stuff that doesn't sell as well as something else. Meanwhile, three John Does pop in and grab their 4 packs of Surly 'Merica and a 12 pack of All Day IPA each, and they leave the store as satisfied customers. Which of these products do you think a store is going to stock more of?

To get to the point: on one hand it's great that Stone values the quality of their product enough to demand that it be pulled from shelves within 40 days of bottling. However, if consumers aren't buying it (price, taste, or whatever -- the reason doesn't matter) and enough sits unsold or (properly) gets returned to the distributor, then stores are gonna stop carrying it and distributors are going to stop buying it.

Not that it matters much to me. There's enough great beer in the cities that I can happily drink myself into a coma without another $20, 9% six-pack option. Also, it's probably at Nova.
