I buy waxed bottles so rarely that I actually like the novelty of it.

 

Yeah haha, their beers are hit and miss. The stout was pretty good though, but probably needs like a year or 2 to mellow out. Super boozy and aggressive.

 

Yes! I've been doing that forever. I don't why people make it more complicated than it is. There is the rare occasion when the wax is so thick I need to chip a little hole first.

 

The guy with the hops in his mouth is similar old photos of a man with a rose in his mouth to invoke the tango! Excellent label.
