Can someone explain the fascination with 3L bottles or oversized bottles in general? I mean it is double the oz price, I understand it is more difficult for the brewery to make but why do people buy these at inflated prices. It should be cheaper on an oz basis due to economies of scale, but that is never the case with these.

Got 3 bottles. Pretty easy transaction. But a word of caution to you all. If there is ever a bottle release online, don't try and buy bottles while you are visiting the La Brea Tar Pits museum. I speak from experience that the reception jumps from No Service to 1x and the occasional 3G. Not fun running around in there trying to find reception.

With the Bottle Logic, Modern Times, Societe, Alesmith and Smog City releases all occurring in the same time-frame, my wallet is getting annihilated.

Bottle limit lifted on Snugglebug... very surprised it lasted this long at all. Guess the fact that it lasts so long on draft helps?

I am not surprised, I think we are beginning to see a shift. I think people are slowing their buying because they have to much beer, also the overall quantity of great beer has increased dramatically in the last 2 years. Most existing breweries have increased capacity, and there are more breweries. If this was released in 2014 it would have been an instant sell out. Also, while this beer is great it doesn't have a whole lot of hype.

10 Magnum bottles will be sold to the first 10 in line on Saturday? How are the bros going to camp out for BT verts at Monkish AND Smog City at the same time?!

Also, I would definitely think twice about early morning line ups in that area. If I were an early morning line up type

Anybody that didn't get in on the presale for Snugglebug should have no problem getting some bottles starting tomorrow. Feeling is that bottles will be around for a few weeks. And there is still PLENTY of Bourbon OE bottles.
