The food pairing section is total overkill lol.

Overall it was a good time, and it was cool to compare the East vs West haze.

Is there no chatter about the Blendery releases tomorrow? Really hoping for a non-chaotic pickup

Agreed! And last I checked, bottles of Fortune are still available. Probably due to price and format. I'm going to go around noon today just in case, so I'll update you

Into the Great Unknown is tasting pretty good. Nice funk. Fruity mosaic hop balances it out. No line!

Also, don't skip the Single Barrel Blueberry.

When they opened, the line was about 10 people; I think you'll be good to go tomorrow. There wasn't even a bottle limit.

Also, the commenter below me is 100% correct. The blueberry single barrel experiment is the best blueberry sour I've ever tasted. I can only hope they mass produce that in the future. The "old fashioned" single barrel experiment was also quite good. Not too boozy, and tastes like you'd expect.

Just got back and yeah, you're fine tomorrow. Tons of bottles in the fridge.

Some solid stuff no doubt. Have bought several bottles of Fortune.... if it had a cartoon duck on the label and was twice the price, people would clamor over it...

I just really don't like dry hopped lambic (even Iris). Wish they'd do less hops and more fruit.

I might have to try French pressing raspberries with Into the Great Unknown

Well....at least it's a start. Still would like to see 32oz growlers. Covered growlers?

And it has to be a corporate brewery's growler that was acquired?? This sounds so complicated, just fill blanks/covered Beachwood like many many others now do.

I was there on Sunday and they had a sign that said they can refill other breweries growlers, $2 additional fee from their own fills.

Yup, we've come a long way in the last year regarding filling others growlers.

    Cheers…...

    Can a local/regular give a recomdation,
I'm going drive up to Anaheim with my wife and two kids from San Diego later today and wanted to make a pit stop for dinner, does anyone know what the usual wait time is for a table around 630-7ish? or am I better off trying to stop in Sunday around 3-4 with the family? thanks

I would guess no longer than a 30 minute wait? No big releases or events today. May have immediate seating.
