Maybe my favorite IPA. Just curious if anyone with their ear to ground has heard anything on an arrival date for this brew. Founders' website says October release, but I've noticed some releases coming a bit early this year. I hope it sticks around for at least a few weeks.

Also, does Founders put any of this into kegs that make it to MA?

    Thanks for any information.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it out by the end of the month.

As for as the keg question, I wouldn't get your hopes up, but it's possible.

Yeah I've never got my hands on this beer, but I'm really hoping I can get some this year.

Very thankful Founder's is now in CT. Would rather not border hop if possible. I've never had their Harvest, will look for it for sure.

I am sure this was sarcastic. But with any Founders Seasonal people will buy it on site for the most part.

Their facebook page says they started brewing it on the 5th of September. Now i don't brew beer but maybe that helps put it in to perspective a bit.

This beer is outstanding....cannot wait to get down on some of this year's batch....as for kegs, I specifically recall drinking harvest and backwoods on draft last fall....(pretty sure I remember them coming around in both bottles and kegs around the same time)

Seems like asking about a beer release or availability is pretty standard on this site, it is called Beer Advocate after all.

    Availability: listed on Founders site.

Limited release beers hitting Boston markets usually play out like this.
Some BA user posts: X store just got this beer (1pm on a weekday). (Thank God I work from home)
Followed by this post: Just went to X store. All gone (3pm).

We all have our usual spots for beer. Just call them in advance.

I just don't see a problem asking, this website even has a beer release forum. I don't think Harvest will go that fast, I know a store that KBS lasted 5-6 hours and that was sought after more than Harvest.

Agree to disagree. Harvest went fast last year (partially because MA didn't get much).

I fish all summer long, mostly for bass & pike, & have to tell you that leg-work to get to my spots would involve a lot of swimming. Whatcha got against fishing?

It seriously saddens me that 5-6 hours is seen as a long time.
