Tasty and sessionable pale lager with a gentle hint of smoke. As you're drinking it the malt becomes more prominent, but without getting sweet thanks to the elevated bitterness (30IBU). Very clean and fresh tasting.

Late night post game victory beer. Gotta replenish those fluids. Beer is a fluid. That counts, right?

12th of...whatever, it's early. up practicing lead guitar for my dad's band at a gig that's 4 hours away. Need to learn 30 60s songs by Saturday. Need me some fuel for shit like Van Morrison. Would I rather be playing silver chair? Yes. But he's in a bind and im versatile, so... :grinning:

    Good morning friends.
Trying this for first time. It's decent for a session IPA at 4.3%. I am using my treehouse glass because I am hoping to get lucky today. Headed to Berkshires in Massachusetts and should score some treehouse on the way (and be incredible to score some on way back)
As I drink this MITA, it's growing on me. Nice balance of citrus/piney notes with hop bite. Citra and simcoe, all in the family here.
    Cheers. [IMG]

It's not "coffee" but the chillies in here are a fine morning jump start (12% never hurt either):

[IMG] Didn't make it to the liquor store yesterday. Had to settle on this little beauty from 2013 until the store opened. Alas, my last :-)

"Good Old Potosi", a revived recipe which I last enjoyed at a beer can show five years ago. It's either a good Cream Ale or a bit over the top for Golden Ale -- take your pick.

Wow you guys are making this difficult on the Staff lately. Fierce competition going on for the most coveted of awards known to mankind. I may even have to start doing themed days just to keep it even! Hey, not a bad idea! Themed Thursdays...I like the sound of that :astonished:. Let's get to the Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD:
I said "we" were gonna try to avoid stein awards until a little closer to O'Fest, but @EMH73 swayed the judges minds with his grandfathers 100+ year old beauty here. Cheers and congrats to what I believe is your first GotD!
2nd: @FatBoyGotSwagger went unique and original with this fine specimen 50/50 glass filled with a new style, Dopplarvestbock? Hopplebockest? Doppestblarvocker? Whatever! Nice job!
3rd: Might as well give into the steins . For "The beer that made Milwaukee famous", @Prager62 may as well be known as "The advocate that made Schlitz ware famous". Another fine Schlitz submission!

Honorable Mentions go out to @dcotom for yet another thrift store treasure, and to @muchloveforhops3 for a sweet etched Coronado Brewing, Hotel Del coastline glass!
Cheers everyone, and I will see you all soon!

    GotD.
