    Thanks for the kind words, gents. Can't speak for anybody else, but I'm in this beer world plain + simply because I love beer, + it's a pleasure being around beer fans, + drinking with them, who are in it for the same. Cheers!

    Hes implying that are using a name that's already out there. Side Project has already addressed JWB about it on the event page

    For those keeping up on the Zika issue (which is tangentially related to Wakefield):

    The Florida Department of Health is reporting 2 new non-travel related cases of Zika in Miami. Both cases are believed to have been spread by local transmission from mosquitoes in Miami Beach. These raises the total number of cases of non-travel non-sexual contact Zika virus in Florida to 35....9 of which have occurred outside of Wynwood and are not believed to be linked to the area.

    The New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald, Wall Street Journal and Reuters are all reporting that more new Zika cases have surfaced as a result of local transmission from mosquitoes in Miami Beach, citing anonymous health department sources.

    So, I think it is times for the health department to stop pretending that Wynwood is the only area affected

    So I didn't realize they were dropping two cans on same day as Miami madness! More incentive to go! Just hope they don't release the cans early like they are tomorrow

    Based on the first few canning runs, these should last into Labor Day weekend, right?

    I can only speculate...I mean, in theory they should last, but I only have as much evidence as you to support this. Maybe @HarryS has some additional info if he's not too busy helping them can? If not, I'll be at the brewery tomorrow for the release, maybe i can find out how many 4 packs they're producing.

    Saw the J Wakefield Instagram post about the two upcoming releases and I had a question about the name of Blanc de Blancs. Isn't that the name of a Side Project beer? Either way, when I asked the question on the post, the account owner removed my question without an answer. Class act from J Wakefield social media representatives

    That's bc Cory King has already called Wakefield out regarding the beer name.

    Some response would have been appreciated, even if it was through a private message. Censoring a question doesn't bode well with me

    Actually pretty surprised they didn't change the name of the beer after the other brewery contacted them, unless SP gave them the ok

    I'm hoping there was a resolution to this issue other than "Fuck it, we're using the name anyway".

    Hello, people's. Sorry, I was canning, so didn't see this until now.

    @fl_beer_fan
    In regards to your comment being removed, I don't run the page, so can't tell you why that happened. Sorry. In answer to your question, yes, Side Project does have a beer with that name. I really can't tell you anything further than that, because I just don't know. This is just an assumption, but I'm thinking he just didn't want another comment section bombardment in regards to the name. Also, you can look it up on Beer Advocate, + see that it does indeed exist. Again, sorry, man.

    @gnartothecore
    There are 80 cases of each beer, with 24 cans a case, which are 16oz cans, + come in 4pks. Both beers go on sale tomorrow, + we will have them available in the tap room.

    I absolutely love Cafe. It truly is a coffee bomb. For being a 6.5% stout, it's pretty thick as well, so it has a great mouth feel.

    Didn't get to try the IPA, because we haven't tapped it yet, + I was sanitizing the cans while they were being canned. Can't give you a fair opinion.

    We canned a ton more of the first round of cans (Green Monsta + Let's Kick It), + also didn't have the fridge when we released it, do these should go much faster. These are also meant to be had fresh, so the sooner you grab a pack, the better it will taste.

    Cheers, everybody, + hope to see you at the brewery!

    P.S. Miami Madness this year, murders last year's version. That's my sincere opinion. Do with that what you will.

    Pending any last minute unforeseen changes (which aren't likely for these cans), those 2 will still be released on the 10th!

    Cheers!

    Not sure why they don't have you run the social media front. You are a lot more responsive and honest than what I experienced today. I could go on about the lack of response and deletion being some sort of symptom of a greater cause, but you're not the one to take ownership of that so there's no reason going down that path.

    If the outward facing aspect of the company was you, I'd say there would be much fewer issues. Cheers
