Wonder what time I should get there in the morning to be out by 10:15... 9 am a safe bet?

Just cracked my first can and agree it's superb. Maybe a hair too much sweetness but that's really picking nits.

I'd have to have it head to head with Congress, but might be my favorite Street.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I have a good feel for TH lines, but Trill doesn't tend to get that insane, but it is a Saturday and this brew is hyped to shit.

Anybody know how the line was at open on the Friday for HTT?

$23 a 4 pack for Headroom. Those prices are no joke.

The Canton line at open for HTT somewhat less than a regular day line at Tree House. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Two simultaneous sale locations should ease the lines a little bit, too.

I feel like Headroom is a bit of a barometer for Trillium. Highest priced 4-pack, for one, and probably its biggest can release yet (maybe the first Cutting Tiles/Artaic?). I'll be curious as a relatively frequent customer to see if it sells out in one day, which hasn't been the norm yet for cans. Really hoping it doesn't. Worth the price for a once-a-month or so customer like myself.

I'm sitting this one out as I'm not going to wait in a line for for a beer no better to me than one's I dont have to try for. Good luck to everyone. Hope it's worth it.

They are really testing to see where the threshold of how much people are willing to pay and they haven't reached it yet. I bet if they sold them for $30/4 they'd still sell out instantly.

I think Headroom is right at the ceiling. The only other beer I could see them charging more for is Scaled Way Up, and that was supposedly a one-off.

The pricing tiers were declared a while ago and I don't think they've gone beyond it. They even offered the lower abv pales at $3.25/can which was not originally mentioned.

They've built the hype up for this like crazy, not like HTT when they dropped info the same day it was releasing.

Headroom has been hyped for awhile. I will be surprised if it doesn't sell out in one day.

Virtually guaranteed it's sold out well before close at both locations.

HTT was announced 2.5 hours before open on a Friday and still sold 470 cases in 7.5 hours with 8pp limits.

Headroom was announced days (weeks?) ago, with specific details coming 36+ hours before the official release. They've got 500 cases to sell at 8pp on a Saturday, and will be open 8 hours.

750 allocations for each of their two locations means it'll last past the rush at open, but I'd guess they sell out by 4pm, if not earlier.

Also worth noting that the higher prices probably have at least a little responsibility for the ability to walk into Trillium and buy cases at a time if your wallet allows. Relative hype and perceived scarcity are bigger factors, sure, but I bet if Congress St. were $75/case it would never last a day.

It certainly is expensive, but I think there are a lot of costs that go into this as well. Plus, there's no telling that we will all be as gung-ho about the Trillium flavor profile forever. I sure hope not, but it could happen.

Regarding tomorrow's Headroom release, is Trillium good at moving the line through quickly, and how long does it usually take for the lines to die dow? My sister is going to be near the Canton location tomorrow morning and offered to snag me a 4-pack.

This is going to be the first release of this caliber at the Canton brewery so your guess is as good as any. They seem to have put a lot of thought into the planning so fingers crossed it will go smoothly. I wouldn't be surprised if average wait time is around 45 minutes...

They are decent at moving the line through quickly. With there being no growler fills tomorrow I'd guess it moves much faster as well. I would also guess that the line doesn't die down tomorrow until cans are gone.

I think will go ok, but it will still be a long line and kind of slow. The wrist band thing, really means nothing. Since I don't think I've ever been id'd at the Canton brewery or even Fort point over the years. The bands really don't have anything to do with the beer line or processing.

I get why they say it, but in reality it's a moot point to me and won't change much.

    We'll see

The line will definitely take a while just because of the amount and variety of cases people can put together. That's going to be much slower than TH or Alchemist where pretty much everybody is buying the same preassembled case. Hopefully, they can increase the amount of registers.
