Hunahpu Day 2016

I had a 2016 recently and was really disappointed compared to the 2015. There was no vanilla and the chocolate was very muted. Pretty much dominated by chilies. I'm guessing there were some consistency issues considering the fact that they made so damn much of it this year.

 

I had one very recently and it was good. No infection issues on my end

 

Can't be certain obviously, but there was a guy here on BA with a very similar handle (Brewbrotha) that used to love to troll and stir stuff up with CCB all the time, pretty sure he was banned.

 

It's the same guy. He was banned for swindling a couple of board members - I believe there is a bad trader thread somewhere.

I've had several bottles of 16. I like it because I enjoy chilis in stouts but it's been my least favorite year so far fresh.

That BT thread is both incredibly hilarious and infuriating all at the same time!

Just had '16 this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. That said, I haven't had any other years for comparison, though the buddy I popped it with has had several years. Thought it stacked up well and had developed remarkably well from when it was fresh.
