Got in line around 12-12:15 in FP and was out at 1. Thought Trillium handled things very well. Not having growler fills today was clutch, especially considering how it creates a bottle neck at the door in FP. They should do it more often for big releases.

I'm assuming he's talking about Headroom...

I was just curious. He was a little late to that party considering Canton sold out around about 1

Yeah... I had that message ready to go when I went at 12:45pm but forgot to hit send. By the time I tried to edit it, it said the 30 mins had already elapsed and posted when it did.

    I was referring to Headroom!

    ___________

Snagged 2-4pks of Headroom and downed a few glasses of it! Amazing beer, but I still love Scaled Way Up more!

Huge tractor trailer cab fire on the pike this morning... I was going eastbound thinking it was gonna be some horrific bloodbath, but the accident was westbound! The rubbernecking is real. 30 minutes of stop and go just so everybody could "ooh" and "ahh". Those poor bastards going west though.

Anyway, that blew my ETA back by half an hour to 1:06. I was sweating bullets glancing at the case updates as I rotted away. 15min out I decided to bail on Canton and go to Boston mainly because I knew it would be close for Headroom and they were out of a bunch of other stuff. Here we go, sifting through Boston traffic and finding parking. Oh boy.

Good thing I made that move because Canton sold out one minute before I would've got there at 1:05. Found parking a block away from Fort Point, a handful of people in line, and I was out of there with all the beer I wanted a few minutes later.

Never been to Row 34 and noticed that was within touching distance of Trillium so I stuffed my body with raw seafood, good beer, and now I'm at Tree House with my Native Three and a pour of Green by the koi pond.

Seriously thought this was gonna be the worst day ever but it turned out pretty great!

I can't help but wonder if they hired a guy at trillium just to stand on the stairs and yell at people to stay to one side so other people could get by. Maybe Tree House should hire a guy to tell people not to block the doorway.

That fire doubled my travel time back to CT. At least the detour routed me closer to Tree House so I ended up grabbing 8 Green, 2 P&P, and a Native Three bottle.

I'd be really curious to see what their total sales were today and how it rates for Trillium overall. Not just Headroom, but many people leaving with multiple cases from two locations...gotta be crazy.

Yeah. It was not a mistake at FP to have three PoS dedicated to mixed orders. So much good stuff available, you were probably making a mistake to walk out with just Headroom.

    (Stillings is better )

I'll give you guys props for your beer patriotism. I wish I had the desire to get up on my day off and wait in line for beer. I hope the hunt was worth it.

Well I got there at 11:45 with 3 ppl ahead of me. Easiest Canton trip I've had. Sometimes hangovers pay off.

Honestly, it was painless. Biked w/my wife/sherpa to FP, arrived in line about 12:45. Exactly 30 mins later we were already on our way home w/16 Headroom.

I've waited for breakfast seating longer than I had to wait for Headroom.

Thinking of finally making it out to the Canton location this Friday on my long weekend. Are there still Headroom glasses available? I know the beer is long sold out, but I do love that glass.

Ask them on twitter, that will be the most accurate answer...although if they still have the glass, no guarantees that they will have it on Friday.

I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone mention the carbonation on this year's Headroom. The head dies SO fast, and the beer is basically still by the time I'm half way through. It tastes so great that I don't care much, but I am wondering if this is intentional. The beer is absolutely flat by the time I finish it.
