Sorry Newbies this old Lurker doesn't have any No Rules but hope this will fill the bill. Cheers to all the Newbies!
Not all that often, but I was just there on Friday. My homebrew partner is the head brewer at Rip Tide in Naples, so whenever he needs a hand or feedback on a beer I'll make the trek across the alley.
@KyleDavis You're lucky I'm here. I've told that F'in @Elkevjoe a thousand times that I don't #solodomechallenge on the day after Shabbos!
#VBS of a magnificent chocolatey stout, courtesy of @JoeyIce3. Don't have any No Rules left, outside of the challenge time but all good - will take this down next 30 minutes and enjoy it as it warms up more. No idea what this one is yet, other that it's not too boozy and i'm loving it right now.
Late to the BA posting but had fun joining the No Rules #solodomechallenge I was in the slower 6:02/6:27 timeframe but really enjoyed this 2016 bottle
Alrighty kiddos... The wife and I agree that this Newbies Anniversary Weekend took a solid couple years off our functional liver usage, but damnit it was totally worth it. Cheers to my fellow brethren, and those Locals that chose to hang out as well. This group is every little bit of awesome. Here is our Sunday evening kill shot, ending on a Birthday Bomb supplied by my favorite Local @Corriecrafts The comradery in this group is 2nd to none, and I'm happy to be a part of it. Cheers!
Holy s*it, I just took down an entire Cycle BA Hazelnut, courtesy of @JoeyIce3, without knowing I was drinking my first-ever Cycle. It was amazing, easily my top 3 beer of the year, and not some weak sauce 3oz sample at a festival, but a proper 22oz. Embarrassingly enough, I didn't detect the hazelnut in it while drinking it. Felt there was something different here, but nowhere close to putting my finger on it, which sucks because I ate a crapload of these hazelnut chocolates as a kid and perhaps should have known. After peeling the label the secondary flavors made sense, but definitely didn't come close to guessing the brewery or the beer. The experience was truly magnificent and I feel like @JoeyIce3's Round 4 box has played a big role in most my of fun beer events last few weeks - thank you again!
Hopefully I didn't miss any guesses in the clusterfuck that was the past week here, but it looks like @Steban was the closest guess at $175. Sorry @Avelasquez80 and @JoeyIce3 but you guys just missed it. A notable mention goes to @sembo I see what you did there. I ended up spending $186, not including any tips left.
