What beer are you drinking now? #1409

Slept in a couple of hours today, went for a run, took care of some errands and now it's time to hang with the Oracle as I wait for the lawn to dry out before mowing. It was one hell of a busy weekend and now I'm paying the price trying to catch up on things. With more rain in the forecast, I better mow before it grows another foot! Not the best start to a new week, but this beer is certainly a great diversion. I'm looking forward to the holiday next week!

 

Happy Monday BA's ! You know what I love about Sunday's? Everyone just goes for it! I'm talking serious beer **** the whole time. And with all that eye candy...glassware. The other beer ****. Speaking of, I'm thinking about changing it up once a week and making Wednesday's Glass Encouragement Day (now you can get your GED in drinking) . This Wednesday we'll start easy with IPA Gripper glasses. Whatcha all think ? If it doesn't respond well, no biggie...back to normal. Anyhoo, it's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

GotD: You and I both knew he wouldn't be out of the limelight for long, so cheers and congrats again to @BeerVikingSailor for a towering Schooner Bar glass. #sizematters
2nd: To @Danmullens1 for that proper tri-brid New Glarus glass (chalice stem, flute, willibecher!), and for making me hungry with that Sicilian chicken cookin'!
3rd: Out to @ShawnoftheD3ad for a nice mug he made back in high school ceramics (probably not really. Lord knows I used to though ).

Honorable mention goes to @laketang for another fine Hurricane glass specimen.

G'day, all! A tall, cold one as my walk on the wild side continues. Today it's Old Milwaukee. A really attractive pour, lots of decent foam and lacing. Beyond that, though, any resemblance between this and beer is purely unintentional. I'm going to save a wee dram for the dog, but the rest is going bye-bye.

 

Come on! The beer of my youth! You ain't gonna subject your dog to it are ya??
