    Sidecar Doughnuts and Coffee in Costa Mesa, CA (obviously for me). Made fresh every day, no preservatives, line out the door all day every day. Take my daughter here for treats every couple of weeks!

    Thanks! Now I'm going to have to have donuts for dinner tonight. I love compiling lists of donut shops around the country to visit whenever I'm in town. If you find yourself in Portland, OR check out Blue Star Donuts (I believe they have a few locations now). They are fantastic and much better than Voodoo in my opinion.

    Hello again, fellow maerzen mavens! In for a pfennig, in for a Deutschmark. Odell Oktoberfest, a lirrle darker and a little maltier than the SN/Mahrs, but another delicious and drinkable brew. I am so ready for football!

    Main Beer Company Hop Program Beer IV

    Wow, this has to be the best Main Beer Co. IPA that I have ever had. They must have been taking a stab at the NE IPA because this beer is so smooth and has that creamy mouth feel to it. The perceived bitterness is very low and taste like a tropical Juice Bomb! This one has that haze to to it too. Damn wish I had more than one bottle, this stuff is quality at it's finest! I cant see an IPA tasting much better than this one IMHO!

    I was at the Bouy facility this Spring and participated in a brew session. The location is outstanding and the brewers were generous and accessible.

    Ahh...another new Ohio beer for me from my Great Lakes mix pack. This one is definitely more to my liking. Conversely my wife prefered the Firefly. Different strokes I guess, even in the same house.
