I noticed that as well. Still drank unbelievable.

 

I'll third this. Still carbonation in the beer during consumption though, which is most important. But ya, it looks like you're drinking a flat beer. I wonder if it has to do with the insane amount of hop oils??

I followed social media and this forum and got there at the golden time of 11:45am as well - wasn't going to go if there was a substantial line. No wait, max limit on Headroom and 4 Stillings St. This was particularly beautiful because I had a 10 month old with me and was really hoping she's be asleep by the time we got there if there was a line... alas, no sleep but no line as well. Chalking this up as a big Saturday win!

 

Man, Canton got cleaned out on Saturday! I have never seen their list down to 3 offerings...

I think a lot of their offerings are under carbed for my liking , I'm guessing it is intentional at this point

 

Just an FYI headroom is on for draft still if anyone just wants to tick it.

 

Was just there and they said they have 2 kegs of it on. Pretty much everyone that came up was getting a 10oz pour of Headroom.

 

That Stillings Street is ridiculously delicious.

 

What I like about it is less gas/bloat post-consumption. To me, the carb (assuming it doesn't taste flat) means nothing, similar to bubbles in Champagne. Does it taste good or no? That's all I ask of my beverage.

 

It tastes good, no doubt.

Me: *Stood on line for 2 and a half hours Saturday for Headroom* "Yeah, I know 'em."

 

Looks like Mettle was just added to the website for cans. Don't remember it being there yesterday.

Will be at Fort Point tomorrow. The price point is pretty steep on Vicinity and Mettle - I plan on getting at least a case total between the varieties. Are the two comparable - do you prefer either? Trying to figure out if I should mix in Scaled, FP or Pier as well. Decisions, decisions..

 

It depends on what hop varietals you prefer. They have pretty specific information available for each of their beers and I find the beers to represent the hops they use very, very well. Decide what hops you like, then make your decisions. Could help. Personally, I love Galaxy and Nelson, so I base my purchasing decisions from there. All of their beers are good, so you can't go wrong.

 

FYI you can get single cans and mix it up however you want. I personally prefer Vicinity to Mettle but neither of them are bad beers.
