not my picture, but you get the idea. the line was pretty long. I got there at 8:15 and was just about where that backhoe is and it took just about 2.5hrs till I walked out with beer.

Apparently a collab with Monkish is being brewed today. Any guesses?

Fort Point Pale Ale is one of the best hoppy beers ever made, so yeah, I'd say its worth a consideration.

If I had to suggest a full case I'd go 4 pack of each available offering (including whatever drops tomorrow) and just get the last 4 pack of whatever you think you'll like best... Mosaic Fort Point is certainly a fair bet.

Heading up tomorrow was hoping for Melcher street to drop today instead of mettle. DIPAs get me in trouble real quick, lol. Hopefully pier and fort point stick around until tomorrow and hey can Melcher tomorrow. Really hoping stilling lasts in growlers as well.

I'd like that. Or name the beer "just what you expected" and have it be a pilsner.

Are Mettle cans likely to last through tomorrow? My sister whiffed on the Headroom release but offered to swing by today or tomorrow to grab me a 4-pack of something before traveling down here. I'd like to see what they have in cans tomorrow if Mettle will linger a bit.

Headroom is a complete outlier for Trillium's DIPA availability. The last time Mettle was released in cans it lasted nearly 10 retail days. Even Cutting Tiles variants were lasting 3+ days, and those are brand new beers*. You'll be fine for Mettle, and likely everything that's currently listed.

*yeah, I know Mosaic CT is Artaic, nerds.

For a future trip I have a question: If I arrive in Boston around 4PM on a Friday, would it be best to hit Fort Point for cans that Friday afternoon or on the following Saturday at noon?

I figure Friday is best but being there at around 5 could be messy, but at the same time Saturday could have fewer options? Thanks!

Unless you're driving, there's no reason not to go on Friday afternoon if you're worried about anything in particular selling out. Fort Point is a lot quieter on Saturday afternoons than Friday after work, but barring some limited release, the crowds at Trillium are comparable both days and usually small.

Should be great options either day, regardless.

Both days and times will be busy and by that I meant like a 10 minute wait. Unless there is some crazy release at that time I wouldn't expect to wait long.

You are more likely to get stuck in some shitty line on a Saturday at noon due to a potential new offering and weekend crowd lining up.

If I'm getting into Boston early Friday morning and assuming I want to buy my full allotment, what time would you recommend being in line for cans at Fort Point?
