You don't need to get there before open. You could tweet at them to see if anything is on fumes but you should be good regardless

You are aware of how much a full allotment is going to cost, right? Just checking.

You could spend well over a thousand or even 2 at peak times there. Or, you could wait in line for two hours for 10 cans of beer out west. No thanks...

Unreal how spoiled we are at Trillium. I don't know what the fuck happened during the closure but they never slowed down and it all changed since then

you may have said it in person differently, but this reads like you came off as a grade A beer snob/geek. if it were me I probably would have just said, "yes, they are fantastic, you should try them out sometime"

I read the ** part as not having been said. Most of all this story reminds me of the beer I drank in law school just over ten years ago: Dogfish 90 minute (still my favorite train beer) and the occasional Three Philosophers.

Also, DDH Melcher today! My favorite Trillium beer, been waiting for this one since they started canning.

made first trip to Canton today, arrived at 2:30pm. had a work trip wrap up in the perfect window being of too late to go back to the office, but early enough to enjoy a beer without getting home late.

chose headroom and then secret stairs as my pours. didn't love headroom - so there's more for everyone else. Seems too prickly a mouthfeel and tasted more heat and less smooth. I've had the same opinion on Haze, but have noticed that 10-14 days in it (Haze) is a much more enjoyable beer to me. Obviously this Headroom batch is in a much earlier state. Secret Stairs was very well done, and was way more complex than I anticipated. Roasty without being too coffee-ish or choclatey..

was surprised at how busy it was at 2pm on a Wednesday, which was cool. I do the Tree House can thing on occasion, so I'm not sure why I was surprised to see 50 people in Canton and not bat at eye at 100 in Monson...but I generally "work" from line and on the drive in & out. I guess I thought I'd see more of that and less of folks enjoying their pours on site. Very cool spot inside, lots of room.

picked up 4packs of DDH Melcher, MoFo, and Pier, which I selfishly am happy to see sticking around, but I think is a highly underrated product. between my fondness of Pier & lack of it with Headroom, I think my pallette is telling me something.

    Cheers

I agree with your opinion on Secret Stairs. What an excellent beer. Now if only they'd can it...

Made the 2.5 hr journey to Canton today. As I sit here drinking a DDH Melcher street and after trying 8-10 varieties of trillium over the last couple of months, they are simply the best! Even my wife who has never been a big beer drinking is loving everything tshe has tried. So much so she made the drive with me today. For even more proof they are my people they were playing gaslight anthem in the taproom today! Cool folks in my opinion! Got some green and Julius today from treehouse and still preferring trillium vi know it's splitting hairs as both are greAt but for me trillium is my go to!

Do you wish they'd can it because you don't want 9 additional ounces from the bottle?
