I've checked and have received nothing. Was the email from "The Bruery"?

Thank you so much for explaining many of our concerns! It means a lot to know that we are being listened to and our feedback is being taken into account. I'm excited for a great year ahead!

    Cheers!

@BruerJoel - So trying to really understand what Patrick has said, would the following be a factual statement? (It my solve many of the complaints we are seeing now).

    1. Second chance sales as we know them, are going away. A person would "request" more bottles and be allowed to purchase them. - If that is the case, the issue of bottles not being held in the cart may all be gone. Essentially you would "guarantee them extra bottles" if they were approved for them.

I know this doesn't cover cellar sales but those don't happen every month anyway.

    2. The one week sales period is quite short, but adding to point 1, if you missed the sale, you could just request more bottles. By no means are you guaranteed a crack at the extra bottles, but I have to assume that it would it would mean most people would get a chance to ask for extra bottles.

I know this isn't ideal, but it may help out somewhat with what I consider to still be a very short purchase week.

This tropical, fruity, floral and funky beer puts a spring in your step and transports you to island time.

This sour ale is aged in oak foeders with hibiscus Passion fruit, raspberries and spices. This sour ale hits 7%-AbV and you’re looking at the 750ml bottle.

    Full description:

This is the kind of beer that both puts a spring in your step and transports you to island time. Wiki Wiki Tart is a sour ale that’s equal parts tropical, fruity, floral and funky. The ensemble of hibiscus, passion fruit and raspberries pluck harmonic notes, beginning with the passionate pink color and continuing through to its puckering flavor profile. Couple that with the soft touch of wheat, oak and complimentary island-esque spices, and you wouldn’t dream of trading places with anyone else (unless they’re sharing this beer with you but wearing a better Hawaiian shirt).

after reading Patrick's post, thinking of it at a business stand point I can see the hard part about exclusive beers. maybe they should change the tag line to "society first" on the high allocation beers that see distro and "society exclusive" on low count beers that won't see outside the clubs (room for me I believe didn't leave the clubs)

I bet they held back the first few years making exclusives but quickly stock piled too much beer it didn't make sense, they do a lot of that unloading in December and may

man that sounds so good until I hear spices, why do they need to add spices?? hibiscus/passion fruit/raspberry already sounds killer

Yeah I agree. Just come up with an unadulterated beer. To me, spices scream that the base wasn't good enough. I'll still drink it, but wonder why they're even needed.

So with the new policies this year, is it no beer is truly a society exclusive unless society buys them all up? So really any beer not sold out could shift to distributed/limited release at the tasting rooms/ect?

Not a big deal to me as I am a member so I can have access to good beer. Just seeing if I'm reading that right.

I'm not sure why this is so difficult, just put BT + adjuncts + different barrels and do like 5 a year and it will all sell out. :stuck_out_tongue: Honestly, I was a bit sad to see Modern Times figure this one out first as it seems so obvious...
