    I had Chainsmoker at Great Taste of the Midwest and it was phenomenal, just a hint of smoke. Someone even thought it was the Barrel Aged version. Wouldn't have guessed it was a Porter. Here's the description from the program:

    CHAINSMOKER: Style: Smoked Beer. Smoked Imperial Porter in collaboration with Cycle Brewing.

    I believe they released Sosus recently. Is that always a taproom only release? Or does it see distro from time to time?

    Had it great taste eve...I thought the mouthfeel was heavy for a porter (at least that morning on tap), and while it was really good, it wasn't on the same level as term oil for me

    It was definitely worth it. Barrel taste was on point and I thought you could really taste that distinctive Cycle taste in my opinion. Very heavy for a porter.

    Edit: Anyone know what barrels were used on this and what the ABV clocked in at?

    TG Chief said on Twitter the ABV was 13.7%. I asked what barrels were used and did not get a reply.

    I was at the tap room last night and they still had cases of both Zee and Sosus. Never hurts to call ahead though!

    I think generally if the beer makes it through the weekend they distro it..I think this weekend includes today as well because of the holiday

    The Chainsmoker brought to the Great Taste was the barrel-aged version. And it was fantastic.
