Anyone who is friends with you on social media knows what kind of a parent you are. I saw nothing wrong with your question and you wanting to have a sleeping baby at a ticketed release is perfectly fine, IMO. Keep doing you, brother.

 

The fact you put me in my place shows you care and aren't some nucklehead looking to hang on to the before kids days. Do you man and don't let drunk dicks on the Internet second guess your situation. (That's me, im a dick) I'm sure you are an outstanding parent. It was wrong to compare going to a restaurant with your child to the person that got wanted with their kids tagging along and no one else with him.

 

Usually ticketed releases have rules. Most I have been to usually make it 21+ only. If they don't make that rule you are good to go. They are saying you can take your kid.

Personally, I wouldn't take my kid to a ticketed beer release. That's just me. And taking your kid to a ticketed beer release is a far cry from taking them to a restaurant or other establishment. I have 2 kids that are 9 and 11. I have never taken them to any beer release and don't plan on doing that ever.

Again, if there is no 21+ only rule you are good to go. I also don't any issue with someone that wants to take their kids if they are allowed. I just won't be taking my kids.

I've learned to not assume. Last thing I need is to get there and hear something different when I could have just gone the opposite way beforehand and dropped him off for the day if I knew he wasn't allowed there. You may be right, but my time is valuable. I'd rather be absolutely sure.

I appreciate the stance for why people would or would not take their kids. Is it ideal for me? No. But I'm balancing a hobby and the most important thing in my life. I know where my priorities stand, but if I can marry the two in certain instances, it would be great. If not, I stay home. No harm, no foul.

My intent seriously wasn't to stir shit up here in the forum. I had a vested interest in an event and wanted to know how to approach it to meet the rules within. It coaxed some opinions, and that's fine. They are respected, but not all of them match my approach. That said, I know my thoughts and intentions and this will be my last post on the topic.

Getting back on track here...any new news of BB Nutsmasher? Have to imagine that might toe the line of the old 12% rule, right?

 

We don't distribute with any real regularity in NE Ohio, and there are only a few places that carry us, mostly draft. 101 Bottles will by far be the best bet normally, but fwiw I delivered cases there and to Fisher's Foods in Canton off Frank Ave yesterday.

 

I know it's still a ways off, but any chance we see bourbon county this year?
