BA coconut cake today was fantastic. Showed up 10 mins after the keg tapped. Sat down with a glass of regular and a stranger asked if I wanted their extra glass. So lucky.

Very different beer side by side with 15 cake. Didn't get the chance to try the fisticuffs, as I promised myself I'd only have 2. Just got done murdering bottles of margarita, whiskey sour, and KLP at lockn festival all weekend. Looking forward to the big BA cake release.

Got there around 5:30 yesterday, was able to grab a glass of 2015, but the BA coconut kicked around 4.

Finally able to understand all the 'heat' on 2015. 2016 is leaps better!

Anybody know if Fisticuffs is going to be bottled?

Spicy heat? I would say 2016 is the worst so far no spicy heat at all. The habenero heat that makes cake good has been less and less since 2013.

Relatively noob over here...and I can only compare the two cakes I've tried...2016 and 2015. And found 2016 more enjoyable. To each their own. @james582

Yeah early 2015 I believe. I remember trying it at 2015 Brewvival and being blown away, I think it was bottled right around that time. I suspect this was the original batch but if it has been remade and rebottled that would be awesome.

My wife LOVED Fistcuffs and found my last bottle recently :slight_frown:. I enjoyed the creaminess of that beer.

Actually you could change the name on the ticket last year but that person couldn't have a ticket of their own.

Correct, you could have a "proxy" by changing the name of the ticket entirely to someone else.

But who knows what this year will be. No guarantee considering all the collective ticketing this year that is no transfer/no proxy/no exceptions
