Got there Friday night. Really liked the place. Highly enjoyed Shimme Ye, Trop Hop and Rugged Snuggle. The others weren't really my style, but those first three were really good. Came home with a growler of Shimme and I'm happy I did.

I agree in regards to Trop Hop and Shimme Ye, both top notch IPA's. Unfortunately for me, I got there at noon on Saturday, with intentions of filling a growler of Shimme but at that point they were very low and were no longer doing growlers of Shimme. Oh well, so I decided to start drinking at noon! Cheers!

They were originally filling growlers of the Shimme and somewhere around 9 or so they stopped. I managed to get mine just in time.

Now that everybody is vibrating on another level because NFL football is back, let's channel that energy towards consuming some serious suds this weekend. Thanks to everyon who came out last weekend and made it one of our busy ones to date! Fortunately we still have some beer to pour , so we are starting off the weekend with 5 beers two of which, Biggenz IPA & Tula Bear Oatmeal Brown, are tapping fresh. We think both offerings are a lot more dialed in this time around so we hope you enjoy them. Also, we will be tapping fresh on Saturday early afternoon a brand new pale ale bursting with Amarillo, Motueka, & Citra we are calling Good Day Sir in honor of the late Gene Wilder. Growler fills will be available for Tula Bear & Monsieur Pinkerton on Friday as well as Biggenz but come early for the IPA because it will not last on fills all night. Also, we will do limited fills of the new Pale Ale Good Day Sir when we tap it on Saturday. As usual the 64 ounce per person limit stands, and we will update the website real-time to reflect availability.

    On Tap
Fuzzy Duckling - Bavarian Style Weizen 5.1% ABV (no growler fills)
Rugged Snuggle - Brown Porter - 5.1% ABV (no growler fills)
    Biggenz - American IPA - 6.9% ABV
Monsieur Pinkerton - American Wheat - 5.1% ABV
Tula Bear - Oatmeal Brown - 5.7% ABV
Good Day Sir - American Pale Ale - 6.0% ABV (tapping on Saturday

We're getting our first tastes of the seasons changing with some cooler weather sneaking in this weekend so obviously the only decision you have is at what point during the weekend are you going to come kick it with us in the tap room. Friday we are tapping our seasonally perfect hoppy American Red Ale called Can I Kick It? Double dry hopped with Mosaic & Citra, it has notes of roasty citrus, caramelized fruit with a piney, resin finish, a good mix of summer and fall smells and flavors to kick off the transition period into a new season. Also, since we love summer so much and can't quite let go, on Saturday we are tapping Squints, our easy drinking summer saison. This brew features a hop profile of Mandarina Bavaria, Huell Melon, and Summer Sazz that throws off notes of stone fruit, citrus and melon.

The sad news is that we are unfortunately not going to be able to do growler fills this weekend due to low volume . That being said, no promises but we will re-evaluate after Saturday night to determine if we are able to do growlers for football Sunday and post to social media.

    On Tap
Can I Kick It? - Red Ale 7.2% ABV
Rugged Snuggle - Brown Porter - 5.1% ABV
    Biggenz - American IPA - 6.9% ABV
Monsieur Pinkerton - American Wheat - 5.1% ABV
Tula Bear - Oatmeal Brown - 5.7% ABV
Good Day Sir - American Pale Ale - 6.0% ABV
Squints - Saison - 5.4% ABV (tapping on Saturday)

    In the Secondary (coming up)
    Shimmy Ye' - IPA
Lil' Shimmy Ye' - American IPA
    Juicy Busey - Saison
Diamonds & Pearls - Milk Stout

Our hours will be the same as normal:
    Friday: 4pm - 10pm
    Saturday: 12pm - 10pm
    Sunday: 12pm - 6pm

According to their Instagram, they brought in a mobile canning line for a test run. Looks like we'll be getting some Twin Elephant in cans soon!

They have enough beer to can but not enough to offer growlers the past two weeks and many others? Odd. Would prefer to be able to get growlers. This doesn't seem like the type of place size-wise that would pursue canning so early.

Not that I'd be complaining about decently priced Lil Shimmy in cans. Don't think their other recipes are perfected enough though to can yet. I'm also hoping the can prices arent exorbitant like their pint/flight prices.

I don't understand that either. They cut off growler sale every weekend afraid they will run out of beer.

We would like to thank The Empanada Guy for coming out last Friday and all of you that came through with big appetites. We are going to try it again next Friday the 28th and a few more Fridays the rest of the year as long ya'll keep slamming those fried pastries. This weekend we are tapping three fresh beers including one of our house Saisons Mini Horse with Kicks, a collaboration we did with NJ homebrew club MASH called El Elote Loco that has local corn we roasted on site and home smoked jalapenos, and a coffee sour called Pucker Cup that has a locally roasted Guatemala/Antigua blend from our friends at Boxwood.

64 ounce growler fills of Mini Horse with Kicks & Pucker Cup will be available, but due to volume availablity, we are only able to offer 32oz fills of Whammarillo. As usual fills are 64oz per person and available while supplies last.

Finally we would like to let you all know about a charitable event we have been participating in and supporting for a decade called "Light the Night" that raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society. Cindy has been captian of a team all along the way so if you feel inspired to support you can do so here. There will also be donation opportunities at the brewery this weekend as well.

Stopped by at 4pm on the dot. Pucker Cup was the winner of the day. I didn't get any sour from it, but its a really solid Coffee Ale.

El Elote Loco is interesting. The aroma is horrendous - very off-putting - but the beer is solid. Sweetness of corn up front and heat of the jalapeno on the backend.

I legitimately don't understand why this idea keeps getting repeated here. Why do people think this? These are the numbers for some area breweries. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Twin Elephant - $6.50 for 16 oz - 40.6 cents per ounce
    Kane - $5 for 12 oz - 41.7 cents per ounce
    Magnify - $6 for 16 oz - 37.5 cents per ounce
    Alementary - $5-7 for 16 oz - 37.5 cents per ounce
    Czigmeister - $5-6 for 12 oz - 45.8 cents per ounce
