Agreed. Best of those we sampled at Meadhall the other night.

I've had the graham cracker at the Beer Hall. I thought it tasted a lot like Cocoa-nut. I'm stilling waiting for a chance to try the maple.

Are there both a Maple Framinghammer and the Maple Rum BA Framinghammer? Or are they the same beer?

Meadhall had the Maple Rum on last week, and it was... interesting. For one thing, it was essentially still. Was that the intention? Asked the Meadhall staff and was just told, "It's been pouring like that all day." No kidding.

Very boozy and harsh, which I typically don't mind, but especially being flat it could have used some more sweetness to balance it out. Not sorry I tried it, but definitely preferred the Mole and Graham Cracker.

The Graham Cracker variant is probably my favorite one, and I'm sad it's not bottled like many of the others. Had it twice at the brewery, and a pour of it at the Meadhall event last week. The sweetness just adds so much to that brew.

That reminds me, I have some Vanilla and Cocoa-Nut bottles ready to be cracked open once football season starts

Agreed the Graham Cracker variant is a home run. Hope they keep doing that one in the future.

Last batch of House Beer cans in the MEH range IMO. Thought it was dialed in prior to this one, pretty disappointing. Hope it's an outlier, love this beer when it's on.

Carry on with the PBJ & Graham Cracker beer by all means, though. & the next time I see a Hoponius 12 pack near me under 3 months old in the Boston area - maybe I'll pick it up.

Anybody have a chance to try Copper Legend? Picked up a 6er of pounders today and enjoyed it. Big fan of the packaging

It's a big day for sour lovers in the Beer Hall- we're releasing bottles of Mélange Des Mûres! The Mélange was created from a blend of lagers soured in wine barrels with tons of blackberries. Enjoy a pour on the patio and then take some bottles home!

Sorry I am late to the thread but this is a heartbreaking loss. Any chance we'll see it again someday in the future, perhaps as a one-off/on-tap option or something? Love me some House Lager though, it's really fantastic....can't get enough!

I agree, loved Jabby Brau. I asked the same question (may have been at the brewery?) and they implied that it could come back from time to time as a one-off. That was awhile ago though and I don't think they've they done that yet (at least that I've seen).

Glad I'm not the only one! As much as I love House Lager, I really enjoyed how Jabby Brau was filtered and was a bit cleaner/crisper (if i recall correctly). Reminded me of a true-to-style Munich Helles (much like Weihenstephan Original...one of my favorites)

"Jack is still hopeful we will pull off his idea of an entire brand devoted to smoked lagers"

I'm intrigued. Fire in the Ham is tied for my favorite JA beer these days. A tremendous food-pairing beer.

Hopefully they can free up some capacity/time to bring back some iteration of Cask Wednesdays. I get all nostalgic for Morton Street recalling those weird, awesome cask experiments.

I miss cask Wednesdays, too. The odd ball cask experiments were fun enough but I'd love to see some of their beers left as is on cask.

I am heading up next week and was wondering what was on tap. I was looking at their website and the last update on the tap list was 7/14. Is there another place to look to see what's currently on tap? Also do they fill their own growlers only? If so does anyone know the cost and sizes?

In MA, breweries can only fill their own glass. Highly recommend the Vienna Keller for a growler only option. Enjoy!

Picking up Copper Legend in 16oz cans. Seems like something not to pass up.
