Tired Hands (September 2016)

Tired Hands Milkshake really does bring all the boys to the yard, apparently.

 

Nope. Its just not gonna happen, it will definitely sell out tonight. I think Helles Other People and maybe one otehr can made it until Sunday before...that was very rare. Plus there's a bottle release Sunday, so any stray Hop Hands cans that are left will likely be grabbed that day. Sorry.

 

In my experience the chair crew is usually guys that go at 2-3, go inside for lunch and beers and then come back out. By 4 the line is so long you dont see many "new" chairs arriving. Most people are standing in place by that time. That said, if you stand there for a little bit, be nice to the people in front and behind you and say, "hey, its hot as Helles out here, mind if i pop in a quick beer while you hold my spot?" I'm sure its all good.

 

This weekend I just had my last Grassman from the release a month or two back, and it was still effing phenomenal. Really didn't change much, if at all.

 

Ugh. This is whats keeping me on the fence...not sure i can justify to myself spending that much time in line...

 

Me too. Just remember he was in line an hour and 20 minutes before the line even moved.

I'm tossing standing in line tonight or risking it for tomorrow at opening. I have no interest in standing in line for 2 hours, that's for sure. If I get there at 4-4:30 will I have cans by 5:30 or so.

 

I know what you mean. I'm heading there straight from work, and I'm fully expecting a 2 hour wait. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. And maybe I'll see a flying rhinoceros on the way too

Pretty sure this is the longest line ever at TH. Wrapping all the way around the Cricket Ave lot. Wayyyyyy longer than the line for Strawberry.

I stand by my earlier use of the word "shitshow". Sorry, but it is. There's no other way to describe it. Thank God the total allotments were so high today.

 

Looks like I can't make this one, usually off on Thursday but as my luck would have it the one I had to work this drops. Oh well, I've posted in the FT forum as I suppose that's my only hope. Fingers crossed.

 

I still think you'll be fine given the huge number of allotments. Cutting it close though!

 

Pretty sure you're incorrect as the line for double mango was also well past the other municipal lot on cricket ave, and even down past west athens.

And again, this is an actual shit show. Unless this is going on, it's a just a line...
