I'd love to be a part of a hazy juice bomb share... Granted my work/kid schedule is pretty busy so I get if it happens without me...

I could bring a juice bomb home brew in 5 weeks.

I could also get weldworks juicy bits from Colorado in a trade with my cousin.

See, that sort of shit really pisses me off. As far as I could tell, they got one case, clearly marked "LIMIT 1" right on the case. I'd understand if it weren't marked, but if it says limit 1, clearly they're pretty...limited, so why be a dick about?

Also, I'm really looking forward to drinking mine tonight, but I have a sneaking suspicion it won't be worthy of buying an entire case.

prob not worth looking for any of these at Binnys huh? Sounds a little too whaleish for me to have time to hunt down this weekend...maybe next

I would assume they'll be gone by the actual weekend, but it also seems to me that the Loop area is one of the more intense beer hoarding areas of the city, so it's hard to tell the beer's demand just by a few shops around here.

Man, I'm really interested in hearing/reading others thoughts on SoJ. I picked up 2 bottles at the release. If I still had one, I'd give it to anyone that missed out on it. Good beer, but it fell into the 'if I see it on the shelf, I might buy it again' category for me.

Frankly, I buy almost nothing again, so that technically means it's a great beer in my lingo!

I don't give myself enough time or a big enough beer budget to both buy new things and buy old favorites all the time, so I usually have to go with something I haven't had. I get what you're saying, though.

I've got 2 left (bought an extra for my brother, but won't end up seeing him before this is past peak), and am near the Clark Binny's. If you strike out, feel free to PM me if you're still looking for one.

I'm the same way, I go new more times than not. I'll buy a fish series each time they're released though along with some year round stuff as fillers. I can't say that about SoJ though, unless I just really had a couple off tasting days when I drank it (which has happened).

That's why I shop at Bottles & Cans pretty much exclusively; you can pick a 4 or 6 pack out of anything in the store.

I can try 4 or 5 new beers and still grab 1 or 2 favorites.

I drive by about 6 million liquor stores on my way there, but they have my business until I move, die or enter rehab.

How's their selection? It's a little out of my way, but I've been meaning to give B&C a shot, and that sort of business model fits my style perfectly.

Small compared to Binny's, but extremely potent. Pretty much anything good, they have.

Yeah, that's all I'd care about. I don't need 70+ cases of 312, but if there's a new release from someone, I'd hope it would be there at some point.

I really like Bottles and Cans, the owners and employees are friendly and helpful, they try to be fair (in my opinion) when it comes to releasing whales like BCBS, and they have a well curated beer selection. Great resource for Pipeworks stuff as they get big shipments (for their size anyway), but they tend to sell out of the harder to get beers really fast.

Chalk up another positive vote from me for Bottles & Cans. I finally went there a couple months ago, and now I've been back 3-4 times. Nice people in there and a good selection.
